There's 1 nice person that works at this location and there's no way to talk to a live representative during non business hours. Never had that experience with any other bank.

I have had nothing but issues with this bank for the last five years. I will be so glad when I can close this account and never have to deal with them again. They are rude and do not have any idea what they are doing. I sent them a power of attorney 3 times and hand-delivered once and they confirmed each time they had received but continually lost it. They have made it so difficult to be poa for someone. They continually lock the account forcing me to go there in person. I would never recommend this bank to anyone.

I'm a county locator doing a locate for the bank.. Asked to use the restroom. Was refused and told that they do not have restrooms. So now I'm going to call there corporate office. County code enforcement and osha and let them now that this bank at 3005 53rd ave e is working there employees all day with no restrooms.

Worst bank you'll ever deal with they will close your acount and then if someone has sent you zelle transaction that takes 5 min they will keep lying you that it's pending

I've been banking with Ameris since March 2020, and they're an excellent bank. Each branch is run well, this branch being no exception, and I am very pleased with their strategic locations across Manatee County. No matter where I am, there's usually a bank location nearby. Thank you, Ameris Bank team!

BE CAREFUL! Always check your balance when transacting at this location or any bank. I filled out a deposit slip to deposit a check and requested $100 back. The teller handed me their slip back, but deposited the whole check and didn't hand me any money. Upon informing her of her error she remarked, "Oh, I did not see that." So, she redid their slip showing a deposit minus $100 like I requested. When I got home, I logged into my account only to find that not only did they deposit my check (minus $100 like I asked), but my bank balance was also down an additional $100 too. I immediately called and spoke to someone who looked at my online account, saw the problem and said he would fix it. And by the next morning, that was the case. There are FAR too many problems with customer service these days. ALWAYS BE ALERT!
