Dropped off a small truckload of stuff. Attendant was polite and we helped him carry out into the tiny building. This would probably not be a good place to drop off large furniture.

I went to this Goodwill at 6:50 PM on a Monday and I wanted to purchase some stuff and the door was locked. The guy told me they do not sell stuff only except donations.

The young attendant working on Sunday 11/19/23 at the FL-64 location by Culver’s verbally assaulted me when I went to hand deliver a rug. There were two cars in front of me and from the moment I opened my trunk he started yelling, saying that it was one car at a time. Not needing a receipt, I proceeded to unload my rug since I can walk it to the donation door myself. To my surprise, I was followed and literally screamed at by the attendant, who then threatened to call the police and write down my license plate number for not waiting in line and for leaving a donation “unattended”. The situation escalated unnecessarily. I urge the management to address this concerning incident promptly. Donors deserve better service and kindness. Shame on Goodwill for treating well meaning donors as if they are criminals. I’ll be sharing my experience with friends and family, urging them to not consider supporting this Goodwill donation center.

This donation center and store always surprises me. The boutique section has incredible pieces, from renowned brands and with tags, new pieces. There is also a sector of decorative pieces and objects that if you search for unique things. It is worth checking.
The service is excellent, the people are kind and everything is very peaceful. Every day there is a label color promotion. It's worth checking out and taking advantage of the discount of the day. Here's a tip!

Until they remember that items are donated to them and they should be resold for a bargain price, not so someone can get rich off of donations. They charge same prices vs getting it new. No one wants old used crap for the price of getting it brand new elsewhere. Goodwill is not good will, unfortunately.

Jason, the manager today at Venice Island Goodwill would not discount broken shoes, literally the bottom on both shoes was coming off. I was willing to pay a discounted price and try to glue them (the shoe glue is $15-20). And another repair with the screw sticking out of the heel. he told me they are priced according and I said same price as all the other pairs?!? He replied, they are mossimo so yes. MOSSIMO IS A TARGET BRAND AND THEY WERE PROBABLY $20 NEW!!!! Went to another store and got a real name brand, Aldo, for $5 in great shape! not the first time this location has been ridiculous. Previously, my Mamaw wanted. a purse and there was no tag on it and they refused to sell it when we asked for a price because "it's not that simple".
