* LONG REVIEW* PLEASE READ!
My wife and I went to this location yesterday as we had a custom preordered birthday cake to pick up. Upon arrival at the bakery, we realized that the cake they had given us was not the correct cake. Not a huge deal, but it’s our daughter’s 3rd birthday and we really wanted it to be perfect for her! So, the bakery associate called over the manager whose name is Josh. Josh immediately greeted us with a friendly approach and told us he would make everything right.
He proceeded to ask us exactly what the cake was supposed to be and my wife showed him the picture that she had originally showed the bakery before ordering the cake. Josh realized the differences and he immediately took the price tag off of the cake and said kindly, “Here, you may have this cake for FREE since we messed up the order”.
We thought to ourselves, awesome! However, Josh was not done there. Next, he stated that the bakery manager, Veronica would be in to close the bakery this evening and that she could quickly prepare our original cake for us as well, also for FREE!!
It STILL doesn’t end there… Josh and Veronica then put together a plan to hand deliver the new cake to our home!!! Talk about exceptional customer service! This type of service is the type you would expect in a 5 star high end resort or restaurant.
We were completely blown away by how well Josh (the Publix manager) and Veronica (the bakery manager) handled this specific situation. They completely went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure that we were able to give our daughter the best birthday cake she could have ever imagined!
This experience will truly stick with me forever as I am also in the hospitality and service industry. This is EXACTLY the way a situation should be shown to new workers in training because of how perfect it was handled!!!
PUBLIX CORPORATE- Please, take notice to this very specific situation and make sure Josh and Veronica receive the proper attention they deserve for doing the absolute best they could do!!!
We cannot say thank you enough to Josh and Veronica!! We will be Publix customers for life!!

We were detoured through Lakewood Ranch due to an accident on I-75. We decided to stop and get some Publix Subs. Parking was adequate as we were pulling a trailer and went inside to order.
The associate Francis was very cordial, made our sandwiches as ordered, and we were on our way.
Good as always.

Been second in line at the sub counter for 15 minutes because they are just working on those awful app orders. Avoid if you can.

The employees at this Publix are amazing! They’re always friendly, professional, and go above and beyond to provide great service. The deli staff, in particular, are exceptional at making subs—they get the orders just right every time and make them fresh and delicious.
