I have a closed account and in error Unemployment made my deposit of ,1375 into my old account. Truist accepted it. When I went in to speak with customer service x2. First time got the run around second time lady at desk said I owed them money on closed account.She Couldn't print a statement to show how money was applied. I was told I would receive a letter NO letter has ever arrived. I wonder how many others they have ripped off with this SCAM. I have the names of staff , I spoke with will post,left the cards at home. People are struggling... ..this should be illegal

You cannot call any branch. There's an automated response. You will get NO answer. Since Truist took over from Suntrust it's been steadily downhill. Awful

Terrible bank!!!! Do not come here. If I could give 0 stars I would. No one here knows what they’re doing and it’ll take 30 minutes just for them to help you. If you go you better hope you don’t get bill because he doesn’t know how to with-drawl money out of someone’s account. Worst bank I’ve ever been to and I would not recommend to anyone!!

Every time I come to the Truist on Cortez their is always a reason why they cannot help me. Never mind the fact we have 3 business acct and 4 personal accounts. I go to any other Truist we never hear no just Cortez. They deserve negative stars.

I was open business account with this bank. I get temporary card but it doesn’t work and i go to branch they let me set up new password and tell me it can use now. so i try 2 atm but it doesn’t work. so i just go back and closed my account with them cause i don’t feel the bank system will be good to support my business.and the branch have few staff that have to do everything

Update : Got a call from a banker at my branch and they were able to depoait funds. Which means pay bills, het gas for generator and repair fences. Thank you for the extra effort ! Customer with BBT for a long time. After the storm tried to get a check deposited to pay bills and get repairs done. No chance. Not even after all this years. Manager did not want to help. Regional manager was excellent. You could feel and see that John deeply cared to help. After waiting for a while. Manager came back and explained to me what she accomplished. Which was in a sense nothing. Does it pay to be a loyal customer with a bank? So far in 30 years business only one bank got a yes. Loyalty is not something which is valued. Thank you to the Regional manager. This man represents what should be. Should have gone to Amscot. Then I would have cash Money in account and actually could accomplish something. Gladly would have paid the fee.

Got stuck with these guys after the last merger closed the nearby branch. This branch confirmed their own hours on Google maps as open till 6pm on Fridays, but I discovered after driving out here, that that's just untrue. Which is like a little microcosm of their whole business, most of the stuff mostly works, but there is always a catch.

This is honestly the worst branch I have visited. I dread having to come here. I need to plan my day around visiting this branch because it can take up to an hour just to make a withdrawal. Really wish they closed this branch down instead of the one on Manatee. I will revise my review once they actually hire some competent employees….

Two days in a row I have sat in line for an absorbanat amount of time, Friday it was over an hour, and today, Saturday 07/02/22, I find myself sitting here again for 45min. This bank has the worst service of any bank I have ever delt with. Find a new bank.
