I have always found employees at this location helpful. Aaron is the person who has been especially helpful. I live in Sarasota and drive to this location because the service is superior to other locations.

They work very hard and the same people are ALWAYS nice to me no matter little personal or lengthy business postage. WE APPRECIATE YOU! Don't listen to rude, bored people. You all work hard and are appreciated, thank you.

Absolutely terrible post office lies and says they can’t scan more than 4 packages even though they can and the older manager lady has screamed at the top of her lungs at me not once not twice not three times but over 5 times now because I simply ask for her to do her job.
After reading through the reviews posted here I now realize I’m not the only one who gets verbally abused by this sour old lady.. I mean there’s even well respected guides that leave hundreds of honest reviews LOSING THEIR SHIEEET over the unprofessionalism of this location. I saw another review about them stealing from packages and after I confronted them two of my packages that I dropped off their arrived with holes in the side and with items missing from the package (and taped back together with masking tape)
I’m in contact with the postmaster and also with local usps representatives to have her removed and fired from her job. She gets paid too much and receives benefits JUST TO YELL AT ME A YOUNG BUSINESS OWNER I was dropping off 40 packages and me and my girl are forced to go in 5 at a time and mind you there is rarely a line or anybody behind me and if there is I’ll let them go infront of me… I will NEVER use this post office again and I will FIGHT for the removal of the manager I’m surprised she still has her job but she won’t for long
If you are a business owner avoid this post office !! Also to the lady at the counter nothing against her super calm and professional just doing her job but she also denies scanning in more than 4 but luckily doesn’t scream and is nice.

Extremely disappointed in the recent mail delivery in my community. All the residents around me are frequently receiving each other's mail in error, left in the incorrect mail box by our letter carriers. I beg you letter carriers to please do a better job in assuring that the correct person gets the correct mail. My neighbor has been waiting for a check in the mail which was sent out in early February, only to find out today, from a neighbor just returning from up north today, that his check was incorrectly put in her box and it sat there for weeks. I understand mistakes happen, but this situation repeats itself again and again. PLEASE PLEASE letter carriers, do a better, more careful job, and PLEASE PLEASE, supervisors send out surveys to our communities to rate our level the level of service that is provided to our communities,so that you might weed out the derilic carriers.

I prefer using the USPS to mail my packages. It's cheaper, faster, and much more reliable in my opinion.

Been watching my package bounce around from Bradenton to YBOR repeatedly and now it’s in Sarasota. My package was supposed to arrive Feb 1. How is it the address clearly says 34211 for the zipcode which has an office here, but they keep sending it to different cities?

Coco took care of me and was such a great representation of USPS! There was a line of people and she remained positive and so professional to everyone she took care of! I came in to send certified mail and she made the process so smooth and made the experience enjoyable even with a little bit of a wait :)

Keeps saying box is empty, returning mail I’ve been here 5 years. Went to see Station Manager Peterson refused to see me at the window girl at window took my number said he would call me and never has!

I submitted a claim after my mail was not delivered to my address and noted that it was “delivered to an agent.” They gave me no updates on my claim after a week so I called the general USPS number and they said that post office had closed my claim and marked it as “resolved.” The customer service representative reopened my claim and said this post office would call me within 48hrs about my claim. They never called and I have been attempting to contact them for the past few days. Why have a local number available for customers to call if you’re not going to answer?

They are not very communicative, they do not explain very little about the service I went to look for, they are not responsible for sent packages. I do not recommend them for this type of procedure.

This post office was good at my first few visits if you could look past the label broker id reader that barely worked, the second pair of automatic doors not working half the time and non existent employees. But this last visit was the straw that broke the camels back. I went to the self service to print a shipping label but the machine was broken and once again the non existent employees were much help. Thank you for nothing but stressful visits. I hope this location gets shut down.
