As I sit at the Valvoline oil change in fort Myers I write this review. I was going to leave the review to start with when I got my oil change because of the lack of professionalism and joking around at this location. I,m now having my car looked at because it's leaking oil and I've been driving it with low oil without my knowledge. Do not go here. They are so unprofessional, your car cost way too much to rely on this place.

This place has a big turnout of employees. The car in front of me was the lucky one getting serviced in 40 minutes (oil change claims to be 15 minutes) I was very unlucky as the technician broke the vacuum hose used to extract the old oil and left a piece inside of my engine crank case. He could not get it out . According to them it will melt and mix with the oil. How comforting !The 15 minutes oil change turned into a 1:45 minutes ordeal.Never coming back !

On 2/23/24 I had my oil changed here. On 2/24/24, I was driving two hours North and my check engine light came on and forced my car into limp mode. I immediately took the next exit and found oil coming out of the bottom of my car. My husband called the shop and was asked to have it towed and they would then repair it and give me 20% off oil changes for life, however, due to my location the tow bill was going to be $1600. They sent a manager from a different location to investigate the issue. After four hours, the manager said she couldn't be sure there wasn't an additional leak from the oil pan gasket but that she had replaced the oil filter (dimple was found in the seal), added oil and sprayed brake clean all under the hood and in my oil pan. In addition, oil had sprayed all over and under my car. I then drove the vehicle home stopping every 20 miles to check my oil levels. I took the car to GMC where it was verified the leak came from the filter, the engine had been starved of oil and recommended a professional cleaning for the underside, engine and exterior from someone with a tilting lift which was done. After spending hours in a parking lot waiting for Valvoline to attempt to fix this issue and hours on the phone trying to reach their area manager, I haven't received so much as a phone call let alone an update on my claim. Parts fail and employees become complacent (filter was not checked for defects) which is understandable, however, the lack of resolution or even communication from Valvoline is appalling. We opened a claim with them immediately and to date have not received a call back from their area manger, Cole. If I could leave zero starts I would but RUN from this place!

What an absolute joke. Been waiting 30+ minutes, all bays going quite slow- one car wrapped up in over a half hour. At this point they decide to close one bay down. They proceed to put someone to the front of the line for a tire rotation. Easily would have to wait an hour at this point. Looking at other recent reviews and someone waited two hours!?!Here with my car, my wife in her car with our baby. Both of us have now left, went down the street, got in IMMEDIATELY while greeted with cold water and kind service. NEVER going back to Valvoline again.

Took 40 minutes to get in bay.Once in they drained oil and then found out they didn't have our filter in stock. Didn't tell us while we sat there for 20 minutes then we asked what issue was. They had to find the filter and GO GET IT while we sat. Been here 2 hours and still no part. They offered 20% off. Are you serious? Will NEVER USE them again. Hearing the bay next to us - also having part issues. They gotta run and get one for that truck too. Omg. Take the instant out of your name.
