This Verizon location is useless. The employees and managers seem completely unable to help with any type of issues or purchases unless it has to do with looking up the same information that your account tells you online. They also seem to not want to make any sales in store seeing that they directed me to go make my $1000 worth of purchases at Best Buy. They are friendly enough but any question or request is met with a no we can’t do that in store or a trip to the stock room only to come back to let you know that they can’t do that in store. Whether it is laziness or lack of customer service initiative this store has a serious problem. Verizon has great cell service but its customer service is outrageously horrendous.

I have been with this company for 21 years. If I could give negative stars, I would. I was misled, told my new plan would be better and the same or less expensive...No my bill is $100 more than it used to be. Yes $100 MORE. I've been on the phone multiple times trying to have this botched sale fixed, but the chat and phone help is equally incompetent. I am so disappointed. If anyone can give me their input on another carrier that they are happy with, please let me know. I am in search of honest sales people with decent plans and service.
Update: My husband turned in his old phone to get the rebate on his new phone. It was supposed to be nearly $900 toward his new phone. They rushed him out the door and didn't confirm his trade-in. I checked our acct and they only gave us $220. The note said it didn't meet all the requirements. There was nothing wrong with his phone. The guy agreed with him the phone was perfect. My husband wiped the memory and did everything he was supposed to do. What a scam!!!!

The gentleman who helped us was very short and snippy with us within three minutes of being there. We understood that there wasn’t much he could do for us but the nastiness in the tone of his voice was unacceptable when speaking to any customer regardless of the situation. Granted it is frustrating dealing with any phone issues but the way he handled things was very unprofessional. His responses were along the lines of “I don’t make the rules I just work here” while rolling his eyes. Thicker gentleman with medium-length dark hair. Everyone else was very nice and tried to come help. Maybe just ask for someone aside from this guy. He doesn’t seem to be happy at his job.

They will tell you whatever you want to hear to make the sale, then treat you poorly once you set up service. Thomas was the representative that assisted us. It was late in the evening and there wasn't time to transfer my data from the old phone to the new one. So, Thomas set up an appointment for me to return. That evening he was very nice and helpful. However, when I returned Thomas was extremely dismissive and didn't want to help me. He jotted down an 800 number and walked away from me. It was rude and embarrassing. If I need assistance in person for any reason I will drive out of my way to avoid going to this location.

Stopped in today to buy a charger. A 5 min transaction. No greeter at this Verizon. Asked an employee if there was someone to just cash me out for a charger. He said I would need to sign in, wait my turn, and if a manager had time to check me out they would. Ridiculous. Left.

Don’t ever go there don’t ever sign a contract with them
Specially being a business
I have a business account with them and they are ripping me off because of the hidden fees and what an employee says the other doesn’t just don’t doit
Worst fraud experience ever
And when u go and ask why u being charged they treat u like u sould have known better
Just stay away and save yourself money and time

I am giving 2 stars to just this store and it's staff not verizon itself. I just had the worst experience at this store that left me confused and questioning my loyalty to verizon. Its even worse since we have purchased several phones at this location and always had great customer service before. Luckily Shavon at corporate rectified the situation but also made me remember why I've been with Verizon for 15 years. Gerald the manager at this store was unprofessional and refused to help me. When a customer asks you to stop trying to up sell and the Manager says he's not going to stop that because he's a sales person there's a serious problem with customer service. Disappointment in the lack of professionalism, customer service, and leadership at this location.

We went to the Corporate Store on 14th, Bradenton FL, walked in and looked for the greeter and couldn’t find one. This guy walked over to us and said did you sign in and we said where he pointed to the front door, and said (CAN’T YOU READ). We waited a few minutes and were waited on by JOSE great employee. Then we asked another employee who this guy was and they said the Manager. So the Rude Clown (GERALD) was the Manager that’s the best Verizon can do it’s a shame no personal greeting and insulted by this manager not good business. I also heard him say it to another customer It appears he doesn’t like his job…Maybe he should not be in a Management position…

Recently got an upgrade and was told to just drop my old iPhone in within 30 days to fulfill my rebates. Went to the location 11/27 within due time and was greeted by an employee who I obviously inconvenienced. Approached and told him my reason for the visit and he asked if I cleared the data from the phone. I responded I had not, but I transferred everything but I’m not sure if that’s the same thing. He then said it needed to be erased, I then asked how to complete that and he told me to “look it up”. I responded why was I not told this when I made this original transaction? My old phone hasn’t been charged in days so I now need to return once more to complete this return. Seems like a convenient way to ensure the rebates expire. Do better.

Made me consider changing cell service provider. Very poor non-service, courtesy and complete lack of assistance; apparently the same in all Arizona locations as I was told. The difficulty of reaching a rep on a critical issue is completely unsatisfactory.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I recently lost close to everything during Hurricane Helene, and then my phone started acting up. I have the flip 5, just a few months out of the 12 month manufacturer warranty. The bottom half of my screen goes in and out of light, so I figured I'd go in to see if they could help. I was pleasant with sales associate Thomas, but apparently he doesn't understand common kindness or compassion. When I explained the situation with my phone, he was like yeah there's nothing to be done here. I asked a few questions and his answers were short and rude. I said to him that he wasn't exactly being helpful, and he was not giving me options. He said (with an attitude) 'Well, what do you want me to do? You can either buy out your phone and get a new one or go get the screen fixed.' I asked for his name calmly and said I hope you have a nice day. I walked out in tears because of how rude he was. I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 10 years. I will be going to AT&T to switch carriers today, because of Thomas and this store. Do not go here. Do not give Thomas your business or your money.

Called the store and was given a rush job on the phone. Called right back and the guy saw the number and wouldn't answer the phone. So I called him from a different number and he picked up. I only asked him a question that conflicts between there online policy and in store policy. The guy was rude. Very poor service.
