I recently had to exchange a ps5 controller under a warranty. To be clear, I purchased a controller that was new with a gamestop replacement warranty. Now the fun, it was unable to be replaced at the store I was at. Okay. Drive out of my way to a different store, or wait 3 days for replacement via mail. So unfortunately for me I choose to wait and purchased yet another new controller with a replacement warranty so I wouldn't miss my eso event with tickets. Well, the controller never shipped and several calls later the order canceled. So call again to be advised I needed to go to the store. Not convenient but okay. Travis called order replaced and actually shipped. I received a refurbished controller today. Refurbished for my new one with a replacement warranty. Well, that sucks. And I called and was told that gamestop changed their policy and will only replace with a refurbished controller. GAMESTOP YOU LOST MY BUSINESS AND THIS IS NOT OKAY. I am saddened and angry that I was not informed of this new policy and that the reason is people abused the warranty. Well, don't offer the warranty if you aren't going to honor it but to not advise and keep selling them, appalling. I hope that they feel this in their bottom line because it's not good business.

They charged me got a damaged console they sold me damaged. Ridiculous! I paid over $300, returned unopened got $40 back when I returned cause my son doesn't play it smh never shopping again and telling everyone that games I know if they don't already know to never use them!

This is not so much about the store, but about the company itself. I bought a game with the help of an associate for my six year old daughter. We looked at the game. It honestly looks like somethings she played on her iPad at home. It’s called we love Katamari reroll. This review is to warn parents to do further research. The game is weird, it’s full of weird innuendos and honestly both my husband and I were uncomfortable playing the game with our daughter. We didn’t play for more than five minutes, the very next day I called to see if I could exchange the game for something else and simply explained that it’s not that we don’t like the game or its boring. I honestly think it’s inappropriate for kids. A lot of times kids play Xbox and their parents aren’t around to monitor what they’re playing. My daughter is not fully reading yet, so we play the games with her and read her the instructions. It had a grown man with abs, his shirt unbuttoned, his legs wide, open talking about watching things grow real nice and slow, calling them cute. It made me uncomfortable. As a mother to a daughter, I did not want her playing that game. And I feel that many parents would agree with me. The store saidthat it is a Korean based game, so their regulations on what is rated “everyone” appropriate might be different from the states. He said unfortunately there’s nothing he can do because the game is opened, I can sell it back and instead of the $35 that I paid for it they were willing to give me eight. He said if I called customer service they might be able to do something different giving the situation. I have called customer service three times now and have been told different things by every associate I talk to. Every time I asked to speak to a supervisor they transfer me and somehow I am always disconnected. The last person I spoke to you simply just told me no he wouldn’t transfer me. We have been customers of GameStop for years now, I do understand their rules however with certain scenarios sometimes you get a different outcome.I have not gotten a single straight answer from customer service and calling them honestly is more of a hassle and I think at this point I’m just stuck taking a loss and having to buy my daughter a new game. They don’t take your concerns seriously and don’t even let you speak without being interrupted every single time.If you take anything from this review, honestly do your research on the games that you buy your kids. Just because they are rated E, for everyone doesn’t mean it’s going to be age appropriate. After speaking with the manager at the store, he agreed he knows the game that I’m talking about and he can understand where my concern is coming from and apologized for the stress of having to get it resolved.

An interesting visit. Travis was outside smoking and talking on the phone while kids with backpacks were inside shopping.While I do appreciate the opportunity to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke to get into the store, I was a little surprised that there was no greeting or even acknowledgement.Not the experience I would have expected from GameStop.

This place was a disaster. There were two girls behind the counter that did not even look up from their phones the entire time we were in there and there was nobody else even in there. They did not even acknowledge that we were in the store. They can't seem to decide what they want to be now. They are selling everything that they can possibly sell under the sun, but the store is laid out really weirdly. This place is not going to be around much longer.

No one answers phones. Called more than 15 times today (call logs for proof) and not a single time did someone answer. I'm about to drive up there and call while I'm in the store. Appears a lot of people have issues going into the store, phones are clearly no better. Not even an answering machine service to leave a message or a way to ask them to call you back. Absolute garbage customer service

Absolutely trash service. Went to buy a Crown Zenith ETB and Xbox but they don't order enough etb to keep in stock. Decided I was going to buy 6 tins instead since it would be same price. Said they could only sell 5, in which I was said I would buy the 6th separately since me and my son both collect. They absolutely refused. In turn, they did not get the Xbox sale or anything else. Keep what customers want, and if not, be willing to work with them to accommodate it. I will not stop here again because this is not the first time they've not had what I was looking for and would not work with me on another item.

Walked into the branch located at 13376 Cortez Blvd. and the girl behind the counter didn’t even make eye contact or say hello. No greeting whatsoever I wanted to run the store for at least five minutes and she was on a personal phone call about picking up kids, I walked right by her to leave and she didn’t even say thank you goodbye or can I help you. Horrendous customer service and I don’t think I would ever shop at this location again.

The store associate Nicole was not very nice and had quite the attitude. I was just trading in my ps4 and she acted like it was a major inconvenience for her. Not impressed and not going back to that store.

As usual GameStop is a ripoff. I had a Xbox Series S that I do not have time to play on due to work hours. It’s a $300 console and they offered me $100 store credit for it. Then they denied the sale because the controller was missing the battery cover. Absolutely avoid them at all costs. Buy you games off Amazon or PlayStation or Xbox store. Hopefully GameStop goes out of business soon and a reputable gaming store will take it’s place.

Very wonderful staff. The manager greeted us as we walked in. Helped us with what we needed and had great spirits. Best GameStop I’ve been too.
