Hours: The Hernando County Fair Association offers a variety of family-friendly events and entertainment. The annual rodeo is described as "amazing" and "authentic," providing an enjoyable experience for attendees. The Bulls Broncs Barrels event is praised for its laid-back atmosphere and fabulous entertainment. While the food and drink prices can be high, the overall experience is still considered fun. The gun show, though smaller than usual, provides a decent outing. The demolition derby, despite some scheduling issues, is a popular attraction. However, the 2025 fair was considered disappointing, with fewer and less exciting rides, as well as an old and worn midway. Despite these shortcomings, the animal and reptile exhibits were still well-received.
