Did not have any cars at the time i showed up for my pick up. Took 30 min before I had to ask what was taking so long. They had to go pick up cars elsewhere. Delayed my trip, and cost me my meeting I was supposed to have in Atlanta later in the day. Very irresponsible, unprofessional, and unreliable. Definitely would not recommend their services again. Waited an hour plus with my dog and all belongings for a car to come available.

Had no problem from where I rented, Car developed problems in Tennessee and was given the run around for 2 days by customer service, Car was never replaced and had to drive defective car over 800 miles to return to Florida. Be careful renting from Hertz, I never will in the future

Very disappointed ?We had a car reservation. When we came in to pick it up, we was told the car had an issue and wasn't available. No other vehicle was even available! They could have at least called us ahead of time and told us no cars were available. That's just unprofessional.The point is we had a reservation, meaning there should have a car of some kind waiting for us.If you rent from this company, make sure you call them to verify your car is waiting, or else you will be set back a couple hours by having to go to another company.We just walked into Enterprise and got a car almost immediately.

Despite the courteous and patient front desk staff at this location, our experience was far from satisfactory. Our disappointment lies more with Hertz in general than with this particular branch, which is why I'm awarding it 3 stars.Upon receiving a 2019 Honda Pilot, we were disheartened to find such a dirty car with such extensive wear and tear. It wasn't until we had driven a short distance and inspected the vehicle that we realized its condition. When we called back to express our concerns, we were informed that this was the only available car and were given the choice to accept it or cancel, leaving us in a bind. We reluctantly accepted the car.As our journey to Tennessee progressed, the car began to exhibit pretty severe transmission issues. When we contacted our nearest Hertz location, which was a 25-minute drive away, and inquired about swapping the car, we were informed that they had no available replacements and couldn't assist us because they were not a corporate branch. We were directed to travel to the nearest corporate location, which was nearly a four-hour drive from our current location. Frustrated, we reached out to Hertz's corporate help line and connected with a representative. She recommended buying transmission fluid and adding it to the car, and told us to "hope for the best". This was the extent of assistance offered to us. Their best solution was to send a tow truck to transport the car to their corporate location, along with a Lyft for us, where we would have to wait for them to provide a replacement vehicle. Despite the car's deteriorating condition, it was still driveable. Following the representative's advice, we continued driving it, enduring the shaking and erratic behavior from the car. Fortunately, we made it back, despite significant discomfort throughout the trip.Overall, our experience with Hertz's customer service left us extremely dissatisfied. It makes one wish they had invested a little more and opted for Enterprise instead..

Not a good experience at all. They gave me a car that had bald tires, low tire pressure lights on when picked up, bad vibration in rear, ac broken and the car was in some type of accident that they covered up with stickers. We made complaints and tried to swap car but with no luck after complaints we received a boiler plate response "thanks for letting us know" 596927472 rental agreement number.

Being in a jam with two vehicles out of commission is horrible, but thankfully Hertz-Brooksville was able to come to our rescue! Peter has been very helpful and courteous! Thank you!

I want to start by saying the employees were very kind. However, after a 40 minute drive to Hertz, getting dropped off and waiting in line for 20 minutes, I was told they did not have a car to fulfill my reservation. The ONLY vehicle they had was a fully electric vehicle, which I am driving over 1,000 miles away. I guess I was supposed to add 5 hours to my trip to allow the car to charge every 200 miles. I had the reservation booked online. If their inventory doesn't reflect their available cars, then major changes need to happen. I was even told they have to tell people every day that they can't honor their reservation from online.

They rescued me. They rented me a new Toyota Corolla and it was really a great car. It took me from Florida to upstate NY excellent fuel economy smooth ride. I recommend Hertz to everyone ❤️

My reservation was for 9 AM Friday, I got there at 8:55. I was out the door within 15 minutes with exactly the vehicle that I reserved. I was hesitant at first because of the negative reviews, however, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and took very good care of me. I would not hesitate to rent a vehicle from this location again.

I reserved a car online. I then called customer service and asked if they could confirm that there would actually be a car for me when I showed for my reservation the next day. They assured me there would be a car, that they could see the inventory on their end.I get a call the next morning from this location saying they have nothing for me. I call customer service back and they give me some totally nonsense answer—sometimes they see there are cars when there actually aren't, or something. This was a total waste of time.
