Definitely worth the stop. Cute little country store. Mainly catering to the park, marina and locals. Have been here twice and will definitely be back. The deli is BUSY so if you're in a hurry save yourself time and order ahead. My favorite so far...the Cuban.

Very nice staff, delicious food, prompt service. We had a Cuban sandwich and an Italian sub. The Cuban was so filling that we brought home the entire other sandwich. Two ladies were working and making us feel welcome. We will return for more great food.Seating inside is limited to two 4-place tables, but there is also outdoor seating. Unisex lavatory was very clean.

I live off 48 and Trails End. So close and glad I finally went. Preordered 2 Cubans with side of Macaroni and Potato Salads. Delicious! Terry was there and very helpful. Cute little honey hole in our quiet little river area! I recommend.

Quaint little fish camp store that serves the best Cuban sandwich in the area. Boars head meats employed. Oddly enough thee boss also creates to die for small cheesecakes. Building looks to have been once a gas station in the 50s made of local stone. Picnic tables outside should the tables inside be full or just to watch the river flow by by the boat ramp. Rustic in a ppearance but the food is top notch. .

We have been going here for a couple of years and recently they have chanced hands, and my last visit was very disappointing. I have worked in the food service for many years and it is a standard practice to use gloves when preparing food, If you choose not to use gloves then after handling money or anything outside of food you wash your hands after handling especially money as it is one of the dirtiest things out there. During my visit the man preparing my sandwich stopped twice to check out other customers and both times he never washed his hands or put on gloves. I was really disgusted about it and almost told him to forget it. But I paid for the sandwich and decided I wouldn't be returning. I'm disappointed because I used to really enjoy my stops there.

Papaws is a friendly small store and one of the best places to eat on Highway 48 between Bushnell and Floral City. It is located on the Winnhaven RV and Mobile Home Park. The hours are 7am to 7pm 7 days a week. They make the biggest variety of sandwiches of any small place I have ever seen. The choices are so many and varied that it will take you 2 weeks to decide your favorite. Don't miss the handmade cheesecakes. Some of my favorites are blackberry, keylime, lemonade, cinnamon roll, and any other flavor Allen thinks of. WARNING: Do not eat more than 1/2 at a time, or your clothes won't fit tomorrow. Also, they are a small convince store that sells beer.
