John's Models is one of the few real hobby shops left. At least in this area. He's got tons of model cars, planes, ships, Gundams, figures. I could spend all day looking through all stuff he has. He also occasionally gets a hold of some rare kits and collectable. His store is also the meeting place for 3 local model clubs. Just ask John or Patty about them. Also if they don't have something in the store, John can find it for you.

I just purchased an F/A-18 Blue Angels jet model from John’s Models, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. The model itself is incredibly detailed and will make a fantastic addition to my decor once it’s built. The store offers an impressive variety, from planes to tanks, boats, submarines, and more, truly something for every enthusiast. What made the experience even better was the excellent customer service. The employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. They assisted me in selecting a Camaro model for my grandpa, which he will really love.

John and his wife are cool folks. Can’t see where you’d complain about anything visiting his store. If you don’t have anything good to say, move along! Simple! Got a lot of cool and interesting items! Worth the visit.

More of a mom and pop place.Different from the chain stores.You may find that diamond in the rough there!Aircrafts, ships, cars and some others.Limited hours.

love this place great selection of military vehicles . Service is great the employees are very kind, Their very knowledgeable on the modules and types of glue you need. The prices are pretty reasonable The older modules are pretty pricey. The regular modules are at a more normal price. There paint selection is amazing . Overall I would strongly recommend John's models for people who are new or old to modeling.

Very cool shop!! Not big, but has an amazing array of model planes…many, MANY kits (and brands) I had never even heard of before. Will be back again!

The LAST LHS in our area! please visit and spend some bucks! I know times are tough. Great store - literally stacked to the ceiling with all sorts of goodies: tanks, figures, ships, cars, paints, building accessories. Anything a modeler needs, John's got it or knows how to get it. HIGHLY recommended ?

Check your receipts to make sure you were charged the price marked on the model. They sometimes try to slip by a slightly higher price at the register.

i had never built a model before but was interested in starting and John was really friendly and courteous in helping me pick out just what i needed to get started. i could look at the huge selection and variety forever too, everything from war tanks, and gundams, to star wars and fantasy.

It's a nice little shop out of the city bustle.Great guy, not overbearing or pushy for you to buy something you won't be able to handle. And really knowledgeable.Only problem with this shop is that there is too much to choose from. So not really a negative.Was more or less looking for a fighter jet or plane. Ended up leaving with a nice F-111 with some nice bonuses in the box.
