If you want great, professional customer service, I would highly recommend to go to Truist on Del Prado S.!!! The Santa Barbara/Veterans location has consistently provided poor service all around.

I understand that there are appoitments, but if I arrive before the bank is there and there is no one there, out of ethics they should not wait almost 20 minutes for the person who has their appointment, but also they do not try to help Hispanic people who do not speak English and they even make fun of it (I witnessed it between the cashier and the office lady) and that is discrimination too, to work with the public they must be more human, otherwise they are not prepared for their work position

Worst bank you could possibly have an account with. They dont answer calls and hold checks 6-12 days.

Awful customer service since the merger. Ir is no longer customer centered SunTrust, that's for sure. No one answers a call at the branch offices and you have to physically go to the bank for help. Forget the 800#. You just get an automated computer and eventually wind up being disconnected.

Jose Rubio is very respectful, diligent, and hard working. Excellent asset to Truist and an excellent asset for clients and the community. I have always felt my business was appreciated with him over the years.

This bank and its employees have to be the most rude and obtuse individuals I have encountered.I was waiting outside their Santa Barbara location about 20 minutes prior to them opening at 9am. I had an employee come up request I roll down my window and tell me I can’t park in their parking lot.I replied saying, “I am a customer with your bank and I have checks I need to cash and deposit.”In a rude manor she raised her voice and started yelling at me and became completely unhinged. I have never been spoken to in such an aggressive way for trying to complete bank business.I calmly replied, “Call the police.” She then proceeded to call the police.I spoke to the two officers. They were very pleasant and nice. They agreed with me that this situation was abnormal and that the bank did not have proper signage in place to dictate such a policy. They said they can’t enter the building while people are parked in the lot. Well I watched three employees walk into the bank prior to police arrival and some while they where there when two other customers where parked near me.If this bank didn’t hold myMortgage then I’d close all my accounts and never use them again.Just really disheartening to see a banking institution and their employees feel like they can yell and scream and call the police on people because it’s their way and can’t even be bothered to have a conversation with a customer and turn to yelling and screaming.***edit***I left the parking lot and returned at 8:59 am. They refused to open the lobby for me. They never once tried to have a conversation about what happened or touch base with me to see if I was upset. A gentleman from inside walked up made sure the door was locked and taped two messages on the front entrance doors while looking at me. They posted two signs of cheap printer paper saying, “Our lobby is temporarily closed due to circumstances out of our control.”Now to be clear I was never trespassed or given any reprimand from the police written or verbal. I was well within my rights and conducting myself professionally.I went through the drive through and they handled my transaction, which I might add with a very short temperament.I asked who I could speak to about this situation and expressed how I felt. I was told, “Their is no one you can contact related to regional or branch manager, but we can have CORPORATE SECURITY reach out to you.”I was informed that me waiting in the parking lot was a breach of corporate security policy and they will be reaching out to me.….. speechless

Absolutely the WORST bank!!! Employees are more interested in talking amongst themselves and having personal chats with people in the drive thru rather than help the customers waiting in line.Went in with two business deposits and needing small bill change in order to stock my registers. NOBODY in the lobby and only one customer in drive thru- drive thru teller was busy chatting it up with that customer for what seemed like 6 minutes... other tellers too consumed with each other to call me up to assist me. When I'm finally called up, I hand over my deposits and state that I need change. The teller proceeds to, at the slowest possible pace, put the money in the counter... two small deposits and a change order of less than 300$ took me WELL over 10 minutes to get completed. By the time it was complete, the lobby had filled with customers waiting while, once again, tellers were busy chatting amongst themselves and being extremely unprofessional. I was handed my deposit bags and left. Good thing I decided to write a review, as my teller came out to my car because she forgot to put my cards and whatnot back in my bags... probably because they just don't pay attention to their customers!!!Absolutely HORRIBLE experience.

SLOWEST. BANK. EVER.Sat in drive thru for 20 minutes, with two lanes open- one car already in each lane. I was second in line at one lane. 20 minutes. No money being sent through the tubes, no words being exchanged.... 20 minutes of waiting. I pull around front to go inside, thinking that it may be quicker- I mean, why else are they not helping the people in drive thru? Right??Wrong. They are letting unprepared people leave their counter to go grab missingnitems (ID'S, paperwork, etc) and instead of taking whomever is next, making us all wait for these other unprepared patrons to return.After another 10 minutes of waiting in another line, I FINALLY received my whole 250$ in change so that I could hurry back (ha ha) to my shop on a busy Saturday... and after all.of that waiting inside as well, I was STILL helped before the people in drive thru.Absolutely HORRIBLE bank experience.

Worst customer service I've ever had. They NEVER answer the phone, (called 15 times), went in person and they said you need to call and make an appointment. No other customers in the building but they said they were too busy to sell CD's. Went to Del Prado branch and Bel was awesome.

My wife found out there was fraudulent activity on her personal account. We both went into this branch recently and were both greeted by Brenda. We explained the situation and Brenda was able to help my wife resolve this issue in a quick and efficient manner which put my wife at ease. Thank you, Brenda! Very knowledgeable banker, friendly, efficient and well spoken. If any problems arise in the future, my wife and I will be coming to this branch and asking for Brenda. Great service.
