I called Castillo’s pharmacy At 20 minutes before 5 o’clock, there closing time according to Google and this door sticker and asked if they had my medication in stock because nowhere else in town does since it’s backlogged. I was assured that they do have it, and replied that I would be there in 10 minutes and was politely please come in and I will be helped. Great. So I pull up 10 minutes later and walk inside realize that my prescription is in my glove box, grab it and go back to the door and it’s locked. It was 12 till five at that point and the woman said that they close at 4:30 after I had just gotten off the phone and was at that moment looking at the 5 o’clock sticker on the door. Immediately a line forms - About six Hispanic men and women and myself, a white man. Apparently, they didn’t understand that my girlfriend is from Columbia and I am fluent in Spanish. The woman who took charge looked at me, said we’re closed, come back tomorrow and would not listen to my explanation at all, so I wait to chime in as sh filled an elderly woman’s prescription and brought it out to her, handing it to her in front of my face, explained to her that it was no problem whatsoever. The girl next to me and her father apparently could not be served since they did not have their medication. I get so angry. I leave and go next-door to a restaurant to grab a beer - It’s been an extremely rough day already, When I realize that it’s not my type of scene, so I go back to get my car and the last gentleman that I thought had left I was checking out, was sitting in the passenger seat of a car in the parking lot, and the woman told me that they were closed was bringing him his prescription and hand it to him through the window of his car. I’m not saying that they’re racist, but I’m certain that if Me and my family acted this way at our restaurant to the only black person in the restaurant while serving the rest of the people, something would be done about it because something was done about it, in 1964 I believe. Started a movement, this just makes me angry, and nothing is gonna be done about it. Well, I’ll be sure to make everybody uncomfortable tomorrow when I go get my prescription - within the bounds of the law of course; they are the only ones that have the backlogged prescription in stock in the Cape, and I feel like a piece of my mind may actually help somebody in the future. I’m not doing this purely out of spite - I don’t want to see anybody else treated this way, I have faith in the power of the pen in the form of reviews and they need to understand that there are repercussions for these types of actions. Finally, there are gringos out here that speak fluent Spanish. All I can say is that it’s a good my girlfriend wasn’t with me, It would’ve been very ugly - I’ve been boxing my whole life and training MMA for eight years now and I’m afraid of that girl. Tomorrow morning should be interesting, other than that I would absolutely avoid this place unless you favored by the staff.

Customer service is very bad. Like calling in the morning and already finding a person who treats the customer so badly.

Omgg, terrible customer service, horrible. They should make them go through a course on how to treat and talk to customers. If they don't like the work, dedicate themselves to something else.
