Good job with the crating - bad job on the freighting sums up my experience. Charged nearly 20k for a modest cross country move (which included a lot of custom crate building). They told me multiple times this was one of the biggest shipments they’ve taken on - and it didn’t even fill a quarter of a 50’ semi trailer - which I thought was a little odd for a freight company. Insisted it was too big for LTL. Had difficulty finding a truck driver - shipment left nearly two weeks after expected. Had logistical issues with truck having no lift gate - had to get a smaller truck to get the contents of the semi off the truck - tried to get me to pay for their error. No useful tracking number given for the shipment. Some crates were mislabeled - had to spend a lot of time trying to unpack/repack crates to figure out which art pieces were where.Everything was packed very well - the crates were very well made and everything was very safe and secure. Staff were friendly. Just need to get better freight solutions and to give better data.

The crew that came to the house was on time and efficient. I asked them to crate a family heirloom grandfather clock and the crate they made was fantastic. The piece arrived without a scratch. The box was very sturdy and carefully marked so I could disassemble in a juset a few minutes with an ordinary screw gun. Thank you!

Great experience working with Craters & Freighters of SW Florida. We had about 16 items shipped from an auto auction in Southwest Florida to our business in Northeast Wisconsin and it was done to perfection. Fantastic, professional people to work with. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Thank you so much.

C&F was recommended by Assisted Living place in Sarasota for me to ship a treasured recliner which was my father's to Seattle. Bill at C&F was total pro and very responsive. Cost was appropriate for the distance and care with which my treasure was handled. "5-Star" rating - nice group, highly recommend - made my life much easier...

I contacted Craters and Freighter for a rate to pick up my Sisters belongings to take it from Florida to Pennsylvania. Both Gary and Tony were very professional and accommodating. The price was right and the communication was good. All was delivered with no problems. Everything was in the same shape as when they picked it up. I would recommend this freight company to anyone.

Experience with Craters & Freighters of Southwest Florida was great. Jason was awesome at providing a price and answering my questions. Once I approved the order, they picked up the furniture the next day and it was shipped 2 days later. Great service at a fair price. Will certainly use them again!

Craters and Freighters in Cape Coral is the best! The team carefully handled, packaged, and delivered a one of a kind museum piece to the Clemson University Bob Campbell Geology Museum where it will be permanently displayed. The understood how important this package was to our family and totally treated every aspect of the shipment with respect. Thank you!

I recently needed to transport a number of valuable paintings and decorative art objects from Sarasota to New York and contacted John Koepke of Craters & Freighters, SW Florida. After meeting with him and discussing packing and shipping details, I decided to entrust him with the collection. Shipping fine art requires a great deal of care. John kept me well informed as to progress and everything arrived safely and in good condition. The crew on the New York end did a fine job as well. I am pleased to recommend Craters and Freighters.

Moving is hard. I think it’s in the top three along with death of a loved one and divorce as the most mentally and emotionally taxing life events. So, imagine having to move almost 1,000 miles away BECAUSE of the death of a loved one? Some might call that a “double whammy”. When times are tough, having people help you along the way is of major importance. So, when we were going through this and needed help moving a large, expensive, and delicate grandfather clock I had NO IDEA where to turn. We hadn’t announced the move and it was quite sudden, so I felt I couldn’t ask for recommendations. Therefore, I leaned on a trustworthy Google search and gave Craters and Freighters a call. These gentlemen were fantastic from start to finish. Professional, caring, honest & fair, and so easy to work with—especially during such a hectic and emotionally draining time. Our clock was packed with care, shipped in a timely fashion, and delivered with the same TLC it left our family’s home, 850 miles from where it now stands. We fully and whole-heartedly recommend Craters and Freighters for your shipping needs.
