Very disappointing experience and terrible customer service. When I arrived, the employee (Steven) was outside smoking and socializing instead of working and remained disengaged the entire time I was in the store. At checkout, he didn’t acknowledge me, avoided eye contact, and showed zero professionalism until I spoke first. After paying cash, I was shorted my change, and when I questioned it, I was told they “didn’t have it.” Even if it was just change, it matters and is saved for my child’s piggy bank. Especially on Christmas Eve, this level of service is unacceptable. This store needs better hiring and employee training.

No one will answer phone 3 days let it ring going to ride my bike before dark to see what the problem is it's Monday Nov 17 2 tried I have to see if I left something there registere. Need a rest 1st older .

Caught the employee taking the choice hot wheels for himself on 9/7 at 11 am. Nice to know I've wasted a couple thousand in gas but nothing he or his family won't be able to come up with eventually.

Brian West the worker who “opens” at 8am. Had carts locked at 8am still. Was standing waiting to go inside and he rudely told me to MOVE after I moved her again told me even more aggressively to MOVE out of his way (I was not in his way). And after I told him off for talking to me like I’m a dog and demanding he has respect for customers he called 911. Not that I care because this isn’t my local dollar general but I will be giving corporate a call and making sure the video of him being nasty to me goes viral. Opening at 8am means the store should be accessible at 8am not 8:05 after you sat around the store doing nothing now no one can grab a cart nor go inside until after you do what was suppose to be done before 8am. People were walking out of of DG and telling me this isn’t his first time being rude and he’s like that to everyone. Well … you picked the right one today. If you can’t give respect to the public get a new job!

THE EMPLOYEES ARE SO RUDE!
The skinny girl with glasses and red lipstick was so rude she was disrespectful to the fullest I asked for a price on 1 item she rolled her eyes at me an told me she couldn’t scan it at the register an delete it because it will effect her “numbers”. Baby girl I spent $102.00 theres I wanted to know how much 1 item was she didn’t greet me didn’t tell me to have a “good day” just gave me a nasty attitude am calling corporate I shop here 3x a week I WILL NEVER go back! Ya need to get it together just because I shop at DG don’t think for a second I won’t coupon at FAMILY DOLLAR. An take my business over there. ✌?

By far the worst customer service of any store I have been in. The staff is rude and the manager is useless. My coupons were not coming off and neither the staff member nor manager was able to assist. I asked them to cancel my order then and the manager got huffy with me and annoyed. I will not be giving them my business any longer.

Honestly, refuse to buy anything here bc the employees are so useless and rude. I asked how much an item that wasn’t priced was and was told “I don’t know you have to cash it out at the front”. Who buys something without knowing the price? I told him the ones I wanted didn’t have a sticker and he goes “Well then I have to take it off the shelf you can’t buy it.” It’s like he was actively trying to get me Not to buy anything. I won’t be spending money anywhere that so clearly doesn’t value the customers that keep you in business.

If I could give them 0 stars, I most definitely would. After working 14 hours I showed up to the location to retrieve an online order I placed hours prior . They had no idea about online orders and could only tell me “I don’t know” with blank faces as if I were to present them knowledge on their store. Steven (Cashier) finally decided to call their manager who only advised him to tell me to cancel the order . After I showed him there was no option to and I had already been charged and my coupons where also used he stated that it would cancel on its own overnight and give me my money and coupons back which are only valid on saturdays. After 40 minutes of waiting for him to figure it out I requested cooperates number and he made up a number and wrote it on a sticky note. Thankfully I called on the way out to find it was a non existent number . I walked back in and took his name and found cooperates number myself . All while my kids were waiting . I spent over an hour on the phone speaking with cooperate. I’m exhausted and will be reporting them to the BBB . If you plan on shopping here think twice I’m sure the other locations have way better service .

The manager I think his name started with an "M" made some remarks as I was leaving the store sun Sept 10 , I wanted to walk back in and put the Beta male back in its place but I chose non violence. I could hear him making comments about not wanting to exchange $10 in quarters (only let me exchange $2) because I wasn't a business owner..... he makes maybe $17 an hour, what does he own enough of to make a decision ?.
