I'm struggling with the rating on this one. The selection of items is great. They usually have what we need and I love the garden center. The problem is the staff. Today I needed bug spray for my garden. I asked the cashier in the garden center where I could find it (after looking all around the garden center). She snapped and said "it's over there somewhere, you just need to look around. I just cash people out I don't know where it is". So I looked around again to no avail. I went inside to the customer service desk. Three people there. One person is being waited on. One lady is talking to the man working there. I'm at the desk and they don't even acknowledge you even after I say "excuse me " twice! So I walk back and see three people talking who work there and are putting together furniture. I ask them where I can find this spray. He points to the left and said "seven". Seven what?? I didn't know what he was talking about. I assumed it was the name of the spray. I asked if I could spray it directly on plants. He laughed and said "you can spray it on vegetables if you want". I headed in the direction he pointed. Looked for a while and found it. When I went to check out the cashier said "oh you found it, sorry but I don't know where anything is, they move it every night". I hesitated to say anything but it was ridiculous. I have a hard time walking anyway so walking around the place trying to find something was hard and then to have such rude employees who couldn't have been less helpful. I thought at first it was a lack of staff but clearly there were enough standing around that one of them could have helped me.

trying to pay with a store card and the system does not recognize it. Supervisors say that it is not their responsibility and I should waste my time and work, little attention and poor service

I went into the store to return an item and purchase another thing the store was not busy ,no one was standing in line that I could see ,I waited behind another customer,about 6' away ,when I hear this rude "SIR!,THE LINE IS BACK HERE !" It was an employee in a wheelchair yelling at me ! ,mind you his line ,1 guy,was about 20' back . Very obnoxious,very rude . live come to expect indifferent behavior at this store but this was over the top . I spend thousands of dollars here every year but no more . this was the Home Depot in north fort Myers / Cape Coral

I went to this location this past Sunday for lumber for a project, gathered my lumber and needed a couple pieces of ply wood cut , after waiting about 30 mins looking for the employees in the lumber department 2 other employees said they tried to call them and they were not answering and finally a 3rd said that the only 2 lumber employees were on brake together, needless to say I most likely will not be back... this is not how a buissness is made profitable

Follow Up: So we went to the Home Depot Store on Skyline and they seem much more organized than the one on Pine Island. The grill was $349 while on their website it was advertised at $299. The lady we spoke to said that Home Depot Stores doesn't compete with their online prices! Crazy! So on we went to the Home Depot at the Forum in Ft. Myers. The store sales people tried their best to help us, but we ended up ordering it online on their website. We were able to get the grill shipped to us at home for $299 and we bought a brush to make the sale over $300 and I was able to get $50 off using my new Home Depot Credit Card. It was shipped to our house in a few days and we had to pick the brush up at the store. So Dave put it together and didn't have any problems. I will include a picture of the grill below! So I will recommend the Home Depot at the Forum. It is an extremely busy store with caring sales people.

Terrible charged me $35 to come out knowing they were going to give me a very high quote. Sales people would not negotiate and offered in the contract things I do not need, saying they were free of charge. Total waste of time.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HOME DEPOT ONLINE to be sent to your home!! I had an emergency and I needed lawn mower parts. They were out of stock in all the stores I searched. I ordered online and they told me it would take approximately two weeks. I did not receive my order! When I looked online it stated that it was sent a couple days before and left at my front door by FedEx. I was here at the time they said it was delivered. When I called Home Depot to tell them I did not get it they REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND OR RESEND OUT THE ORDER THAT I DIDNT RECEIVE UNLESS I PAID FOR IT AGAIN! They told me that once they ship it its on me! I am so furious right now! I had to reorder the items and PAY AGAIN!! They told me I had to dispute this with Fedex and my bank! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?? They were the ones shipping it to me! Its been 3 weeks and it will be another 2 weeks to get the parts. I will have paid someone 3 times to mow my yard and paid twice for the $150.00 parts in the process. They havent heard the last of me! I'm furious! They robbed me!

If you are looking for residential windows RUN do not walk to someplace besides Home Depot. We ordered our windows on 4/28 and were told they would be in on June 9th. No windows on the 9th we were then told they would be here on June 15th. No windows on the 15th. We were then assured that they would be here today June 30th. No windows today. We called the factory on our own and were informed they were having manpower problems and our order would not be shipped before July 12th. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. WE ARE PASSED THE START OF HURRICANE SEASON AND WE EXPECTED THESE WINDOWS TO BE IN BY NOW!!!!! Not shipped before July 12th could mean anything, like maybe August or September. We are very very very dissatisfied with the whole thing ! We spent $2600.00 on these window and feel like Home Depot just doesn’t care.

If they give you a delivery date and time do not believe them. Supposed to deliver Monday...no show. Whoops we will deliver Wednesday between 8-9am...Wait..now expect us between 10-1....no show. Whoops they didn’t get it on the truck so it will have to be Thursday....RIGHT!!!!

1 hour to get a customer service rep to get our sink off shelf the upper shelf. Service called for assistance in isles 9 we asked for assistance several times. Oh person pulled ladder up and left. Really never again. Oh and 800.00 worth of online order material already purchased for pick up or we would have walked out. Never again. 2 hours later we are out of there. So over 1000.00 purchased 800.00 was shipped in for us to pick up. Very expensive 2 hour wait and 45 minute drive one way.

I went to this home depot Thursday May 28th. My friend is in a wheelchair...very important,,, he pushes his wheel chair by hand. We wanted to go to the garden centre. The garden center is an exit. I asked the door monitor if we could go in that area, due to the fact he pushes his wheel chair by hand. Sherry/Shari said NO !! She wanted him to go in the entrance area, which is far away from the garden center & has a maze before you actually get into the store. I tried to explain the huge issue. Her demeanor was arrogant, rude, snotty. Finally, she said " this isn't worth my time" . We finally got her permission to enter. The lack of customer service by Sheery/Shari is a bid negative for returning. I suggest she spend a day pushing herself in a wheelchair !! I wish there was a none for the stars.

I was in the self checkout and had rung up a saw and stand, which I waited a half an hour for an associate to pull off a pallet. Once that transaction was finished and paid for, I started a second transaction. The woman paid to watch the self check lines was so busy chit chatting with her co-workers she didn't see my first transaction and then accused me not paying for the saw and stand. Either pay attention to your job or don't question people. I shouldn't be treated like a criminal.
