I went here a few times because it's close to my house. Everytime I've been in the there the staff who are older ladies are just nasty and grumpy . Not an ounce of respect or politeness. They also tried to charge $1.00 for a PIECE of tape. They try to charge extra for every little thing. Main post office is the best place to go. Will never return here.

I felt very uncomfortable in this store. I felt as if the staff felt I didn’t belong there. Not welcoming at all. I thought it was just me until I read the reviews. This was my first and last time I will ever go there. My family and I are only 3 days in from moving out of state and this was a first for me. All other experiences in Cape Coral have been wonderful!

The workers are rude. I only come here because of convenience and it being so close to my home. But otherwise I wouldn’t come here. I work in customer service and would never treat anyone in a bad way, and I am very nice every single time I walk into this location and every time they are rude to me, and it seems I’m not the only one with this problem in the reviews.

This store is the worst service ever I have visited several times to give a chance due to it being so close to home and the women in there are so rude every single time and the looks they give when me or my husband have came here almost feels like they are profiling us, it wasn’t just a bad day for these older women at all. I recommend you take the drive to the post office to avoid any problems and from the looks of the other reviews I’m not the only one feeling like this

I love going in to mail my packages. I mail & shop all at the same time. Beautiful things for gifts & wine. Everyone is so helpful.

Once or twice, sure, it can happen, but I find myself being treated rude and without any respect EVERY single time I go to the “Sip and Send” on Santa Barbara Blvd. There is no greeting a customer, no smile, no friendly word; every request you make, even a small one like “can I please have my receipt …” made the lady behind the counter send an evil look at me and bark at me. I had one of those ladies tell me one day that they don’t like the “mail business” because it’s not making enough money, they just want you to buy gift shop stuff and if you are just here for post office business it seems they hate you regardless. Can’t wait until the USPS office on Pine Island Road opens.

I only use this post office when I’m in Cape Coral and it seems like every time I go there the workers are very rude. Even my daughter has went in there to ship something and they were just as rude to her . They would rather sit and chitchat than make sure their customers are OK.This evening I went in with my package sealed and ready and a label ready that I had printed from home.I simply walked up to the counter and said “hey this just needs to be sent out it already has a label”The cashier looked at me very rudely and said “well you need to tape it” . Now I’ve been to many sip and sends and small post offices and I have never had to put a label on my own product. They will usually put it in a clear plastic wrap and stick the label on it.So as I’m trying to tape my label onto my package the cashier than says to me “ and make sure you don’t tape over the barcode” like I’ve worked in a post office for years and I’m supposed to know this .After fumbling with the tape dispenser I then needed scissors because the tape I got was too long for my label I then politely asked her for scissors and she again looked at me very rudely. She said “there’s a cutter on the tape dispenser “ again very rudely.I put the package down on the counter very upset and as I was walking out she said “well you taped over your barcode looks like they won’t be able to scan it” .I shook my head and walked out and she again very rudely and sarcastically said “have a great day”.For someone who is so high in age you would think she would have a little bit more respect and manners and that she would know customer service having worked at the post office for so long but I guess this is what minimum wage does the people. To make a long story short don’t waste your time I would rather stand in line for 10 minutes at the regular post office then to deal with this disrespect.

Very rude !!! I ship many places for my business and these ladies really are just as mean as can be for no reason at all. I alwyas smile and I’m very respectful to everyone . It’s your job to help customers. If you guys don’t want to work then don’t work simple ! I’ll never go back and I will never send anyone else there . The place on Hancock and Santa Barbara has the nicest employees and I’ll rather give them tips everyday!

I was pleasantly introduced to this (what I thought was a gem of a place) last year … basically by just stopping by thinking it was just a post office to send a card. I was greeted at the door by a lovely lady offering tiny little glasses of wine “here would you like a sip?” How nice!!! I smiled and just thought this is over the top…. A post office that also lets you just have a sip of wine to add that little something g extra to your day. So I indulged. Then she asked if I’d like to try some other flavours. How nice!!! Of course they do sell wine there as a side kick but still it was just a great experience.I called my friend who is a postmaster to tell her about this great place I had found!! She said she wished they had something where she lives (a northern state)Anyway it was just such a pleasant experience and so I thought I’d make this my permanent way to send mail, buy a card, a gift or whatever.Fast forward several months later….I was mailing something and needed a label and I used a priority sticker but cut off the priority part.Omg!! I was berated bu one of the employees!!! Don’t do that again!!I truly was sorry….and I mean that. But every time I go in now it’s something else and not in a nice tone of voice. It seems to be one lady in particular … but maybe I’m wrong. But what a poor attitude!!Place has gone way down in my books….I’m almost frightened to go in there now… :((

Jonette, the owner, is a great person! She notarized the papers for closing on our house. She was thorough and patient! We will be back!

Sip and Send is my "go to" for anytime I need to mail ANYTHING...all of the folks there including and especially the owner are super helpful, super friendly and very knowledgeable! The gifts are unique and the selection of cards and wine are fantastic!! I know it's going to be a good day if I stop by Sip and Send!!
