Outrageous Uniform Costs Exploiting Teen Employees!I'm absolutely appalled by the mandatory uniform policy at Sunsplash Waterpark, specifically targeting teenage employees. Charging an exorbitant $42 for a pair of shorts is nothing short of exploitation, forcing these kids to work an entire day just to cover this ridiculous expense. What's even more infuriating is the complete lack of a uniform stipend or reimbursement program. It's like sunsplash is shamelessly ripping off these young workers, who are already trying to manage their finances responsibly. Considering the significant profits your company rakes in, it's downright infuriating that you can't spare some consideration for the financial strain you're imposing on these teens. It's high time Sunspash Waterpark reevaluates its priorities and takes immediate action to rectify this unjust uniform policy. Show some decency and stop taking advantage of your young employees!

I purchased the BOGO fall promotion for admission online. Total came to $40.33 with tax for two people—not bad. Hours for Sunday were posted as 11-6 on their Google page. I tried calling several times to confirm this and ask a few other questions before my arrival, but I was never able to get through to a real person. I called on a day the park was open. We arrived Sunday at 2 to discover they actually closed at 5, and most of the major water slides closed at 3. There was a sign placed right at the entrance of the large enclosed slides advertising tube rentals at an additional price. This was our first time at the park, and we thought you had to pay extra for tube rentals if you wanted to go on these larger slides. This was an additional $40 for two of us—and we were only able to go on the larger slides twice before they closed at 3. Very disappointing. Do NOT make the same mistake we did—our two and a half hours at SunSplash totaled $95 for two people (with a medium locker rental—we didn’t even buy any food). We would have never purchased the tube rentals had we known you didn’t need them for the larger tube slides, and we only ended up getting to use those $40 rentals for half an hour anyway. We would greatly appreciate a refund for our tube rentals, as they were purchased under false pretenses, and we were barely able to use them before the slides closed. I can’t get ahold of SunSplash any other way.

Overall a great place if you're good at holding your bladder. Not sure when the bathrooms get cleaned but we've visited on weekdays and weekends and they're always filthy. Otherwise this water park is great and the attractions are always functioning. Their adult nights are fun as well and a great addition to annual pass holder benefits. The annual pass is a great deal and our family loves going as often as we can. Grateful for the private company that took over management of the park from the city. Many improvements.

I find it ridiculous. A senior citizens are people older. Have to pay more and the people younger pay less. That's absurd people live on a budget, especially older people. Shame on you ???

I recently visited Sun Splash Family Waterpark with my family and my daughter. We had a great time! There was something for everyone, from the tallest, fastest slides to the more gentle water play areas for younger children. My daughter especially loved the lazy river and the pirate ship water play area. The park was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait long for any of the rides, and the lines were always moving smoothly. We also appreciated the free parking.Overall, we had great experience at Sun Splash Family Waterpark. It's a great place to cool off on a hot day and have some fun with the family. I highly recommend it!

Overall, it's a fun experience and I have been back multiple times. The entrance + meal ticket is the best deal for sure. Lockers are fine as well. Slides are fun and lines weren't bad (even on busy days it was tolerable). Food is pretty good. They are generous with their rain checks and we were able to come back with them on a different day with no issues. I just have the same complaints everyone else does. The bathrooms were kind of grungy, and it wasn't the kind that could be fixed with routine bathroom checks from staff. This is more like, rust, build up, sinks broken, etc. Also the pavement is HOT! I am seeing Sunsplash replies saying they recommend aqua socks, but they must know most people are barefoot and theres no rules about it. It's been five hours after I got back from the park and my feet are still tender and hurt. I just recommend them getting sprinklers everywhere on hard concrete. We heard a kid crying behind us because the pavement had burned his feet. Idk. It seems like a safety hazard. Also on the climb up to the green slide, there are wasps nests under the very top platform. I informed customer service and they were very nice and said they were working on it but someone I was with was stung by a wasp up there just 2 weeks ago.Its a fun place but there are some issues that I wish would be sorted !

Horrible experience. The lifeguard told some unhinged woman to take our tube and she would not take no for an answer, multiple times. She almost caused a fight. Lifeguard should not appoint managerial duties to customers. The pathways are scalding hot and the hoses on the bridges don't work. Worn out traction on the steps, so please be careful. Injury waiting to happen. The water is quite dirty, honestly. Tons of wood chips and dirt were floating on the surface of the lazy river along with lots of hair, as if it hadn't been cleaned in some time. Not enough tubes, barely any. This is what caused such a fiasco on my visit. My child rested his feet in the tube for 2-3 minutes due to them being burned from the bridge, I waited 20 minutes for that tube only to have some lady screaming at me that the lifeguard told her it was now her tube. The lifeguards have verbally hit on me during past visits, in front of my child. Oh, and the pirate ship splash pad has ( I believe) a 3 foot height restriction. It differs from years past as well as the website which states 48 inches. This is false advertising. Hungry? Prepare to wait upwards of 45 minutes for your food. The drink only lane can actually be longer. The person at the counter is painfully slow. Not a fan of Sunsplash, especially when they did not reply to my email stating what happened. This corporation just don't care. Spend your money elsewhere!
