Listen to the reviews and avoid this location. “Joy” was who I dealt with and she was anything but. I usually print all my labels off and have never had an issue with getting the wrong label. I picked the most expensive priority envelope that stated “padded” which there is only one. I ordered the exact envelopes off the usps website and packed my items in that one. My printer ran out of ink so I had to go up and get my label scanned for them to print. She was nasty off the bat and said I picked the wrong one and needed to pay $2 extra. When I showed her my receipt and thats it said padded and was right she refused to even look or try to fix and proceeded to try to STARE me down. Disgusting behavior. She didn’t even try to be anything but rude. What a miserable person. Will never go to this location again.

Went to buy stamps. Line was terribly long. The.women to who was available was not very good at explaining options and didn't seem to be interested in what I wanted to buy. People like her are the reason.USPS is having problems. She should be let go or the very least, not in a position dealing with the public. While waiting in line was able to watch and hear interaction of the other 3 lines as well. They treated the customers good.

Update: just got off the phone will 811 - call BEFORE YOU DIG - It is infact a state law that you call before you dig in the state of florida. This manager is giving out false information that could cost you fines or even seriously injure someone.-- Not surprised at all the 0 stars. This post office needs new management. My mailbox was run down by a drunk driver 10 days ago. The day after I went to the post office and inquired on what to do. I was told by staff that my mail would be held for 2 weeks but no longer. I went in yesterday (day9) to pick up my mail so the mailman did not have to deliver all of that to my box today(when the box was put back up) I was told there was no mail and that they didn't know anything about "held mail". Then this morning the manager Kathy, no last name because she is not required to give her last name stated that the mail has been sent back because I should have "made a make shift box". When I explained that I was waiting on the utilities company to mark where I could not dig, she stated that she had never even heard of that and in her 36 years of working at the post office that has never been an issue. I asked who I could file a complaint with, she stated her. When I asked who is over her...who runs the post office. She stated she does and the complaint would just make its way back to her. She then went on a long rant how she is not a government employee and she gets paid from people buying stamps. She pretty much said "Not my problem, you should have just dug a new box". I don't know why this person is a Manger she does not have any skills for this position.

If I could give this place a negative star it would exceed the amount I can give.My wife and I have a newborn beautiful little girl. 3months to be exact. My wife had to mail some packages out. Now it is understood that kids are the responsibility of the parents yes! The customer service is the responsibility of the facility!!!! With that being said the staff on numerous occasions are the worst. They are rude and just disrespectful! to have them be so rude to any and all people is just uncalled for.In no way whatsoever should a postal worker or any worker treat customers with the amount of disrespect as they do in this facility. I would hope and pray that more people who experience situations like this please to speak up and make their management team aware.This place is an embarrassment to our country and the employees who serve the community need to be very aware of the negative impact they are giving to us!Will I go back and complain? Yes! I will! Will their immediate leads and higher ups care? No they will not. It is just sad!!!!

Brian Fleming contacted me about my concern for constantly receiving other people's mail at my home. I write 'return to sender,' 'does not reside here,' 'wrong address,' but the mail always comes back to me. After several times what am I supposed to do? I'm not paying for a stamp to forward like another USPS representative told me to do. Apparently, even if you receive the mail back a sixth or seventh time, it is illegal to throw it out. I am responsible for holding other residents' mail until when? Apparently forever, because I'm not buying stamps to forward mail and I'm not holding mail indefinitely. Brian Fleming should not be in customer service questioning me like I may not know my own address of 13+ years is listed. There is no letter after the number. There are no separate units like an apartment. I am a concerned citizen receiving other residents' confidential mail and you are going to give me an attitude because you all cannot do your jobs? I wish we had a better option for mail service. "Return to Sender" means you return it to the sender, not to the same wrong address.

Twice in the last year I have used the Hold Card from the PO and put the date to have our held mail delivered. They DO NOT deliver when requested. Last time it took over a week to get our mail. What has happened to these people who work there. They just don’t care and there is no quality customer service anymore.

This post office is horrendous. If you ever expect them to deliver a package on time- DON'T!! You will never receive a package as promised- even when you know the post office has had it in their possession well before the anticipated/expected/promised, delivery date. If you try to call to obtain information- you can't- you are given the runaround then disconnected or told there are no agents available- then are directed to attempt to use their website. YOU GUESSED IT- THAT DOESN'T WORK EITHER! Currently waiting on three overdue packages, ordered well in advance of when I would need them, but- nope not arriving on time - no one to give me an update on when I might receive them- no way to find out- just a message saying I can wait until July 20th to file a claim! WHAT? That's almost a full month past the promised date of items I ACTUALLY NEEDED WELL BEFORE 7-20! ONE JOB TO DO and they CAN'T

Went to do a package drop off at 6:45 pm at the self service area and the drop box was broke. When I asked the employee inside she rudely said "I can't help you, I'm counting money". After looking for a drop cart or any place to put the package (while the employee was complaining loudly about all the customers with another employee) I tried to ask again if there was another place I could take the package and again she yelled again " I can't help you I'm counting money." I told her I just want to know if there is another drop location in Cape Coral and she said she didn't know. She was too busy complaining about customers with the other "off duty" employee to answer a question. So rude. Both of those rude ladies need to attend a customer service class. Very disappointed in their behavior as government employees.

Meanwhile the employee was complaining loudly about all the customers with another employee. I tried to ask again if there was another place I could take the package and again she yelled again " I can't help you I'm counting money." (She sure could trash talk all the customers loudly that they had today though.) I told her I just want to know if there is another drop location in Cape Coral and she said she didn't know. She was too busy complaining about customers with the other "off duty" employee to answer a question. So rude. Both of those rude ladies need to attend a customer service class. Very disappointed in their behavior as government employees.I would give them zero star if Yelp allowed it. Awful experience today, and very poor planning by management to handle a broken drop box. At a minimum they could have temporarily opened the top of the two part door and put a letter cart there so customers could drop packages, especially since there were employees still in the building working. Very poor planning to deal with an equipment issue.

I have been mailing and shipping parcels for seven years now in Cape Coral P.O. and I am just amazed at how many customers are rude and disrespectful to the clerks behind the counter! In my experience’s at this P. O. I have never had a bad experience. Plus, I am shocked that they put up with as much as they do. I definitely think I would have quit or at least wanted to. What ever you give is some times returned to you. They are good people attempting to provide a service.

Arrived today slightly after 6p as they close at 6:30. The staff were all pleasant considering the long line they had waiting. Absolutely wonderful customer service, highly recommended.

When I see I have a package arriving Sat 2-4 and have my RING volume up , waiting for 2 hours to hear the bell.. and you see 2 cars in the driveway, instead of ringing the doorbell you decide to leave a note to pick up at the post office!!!! I don't get it!!!??? Waste of my day when all you had to do was press a freaking button!!!! Lazy & inconsiderate.
