The staff are exceptional in their jobs, compassionate, and so very friendly and helpful.They have been caring for my Shih Tzu's for many years.”

“Just went through a very scary situation with our pup. She had been a patient at another well known vet in the area. We knew she wasn’t acting right and had her checked at this other vet. We were told she was fine and sent on our way. A week or so later and she was much much worse so we took her back. They then told us that she had Pyometra and needed surgery immediately or she would likely die. They, however, did not have a surgeon available that day. After calling around multiple other places and being told $4-$5 thousand dollars for emergency surgery, we called Cape Coral Pet Vet. We explained the situation to them and they told us to bring her over right away. Dr Fisher saved our dogs life on little to no advance notice. They also did this for 25% of the cost that we were quoted everywhere else. Everybody in that office was wonderful. Needless to say, we are extremely grateful and will be using them in the future for our needs.”

“Took our dog here for the first time after relocating here for routine vaccines. We found the Dr to be friendly toward us as new clients and complimentary on how well our dog looked physically for her age, same for her coat and her teeth. She was very thorough in her exam. She told us we were doing a great job. She has has a calming pleasant demeanor and took up time with our pet and my dog did not feel stressed out. Her staff is very friendly and helpful also.”

“Update: Our fur baby was very ill and unfortunately, we had to make a very difficult decision. The vet and all the staff approached our family with kindess and compassion during a very difficult time. I can’t thank them enough for caring for our Nakota during his last moments with us, while simultaneously supporting our entire family while we navigated the loss of our beloved dog who grew up with our children. They also provided us with grief and pet loss support services.My dog hurt his leg, and we took him in to have him looked at. The veterinarians at this practice are absolutely wonderful. I love that they are so gentle with our anxious dog and educate us about what is going on with our dog's health. They take time to discuss options and provide options when they realistically can while ensuring that our dog is being taken care of. They really try to keep their services affordable so individuals can actually afford to be their pets in to be seen. I highly recommend!!!”

“I moved here in 2020, right around the pandemic. My husband and I are here in the winter and in Illinois in the summer. I’ll shorten my story. We got a new pomapoo puppy in November 2021 who loved Doc Mullins. Teddie also liked his neighbor Locatelli who lives across the hall in our condos. Fast forward to 2023, Doc Mullins is know taking care of Teddie, Locatelli, Rigatoni, Nelly, and Maverick. All of the new owners have said they are happy and staying with Doc Mullins. This happened to be an accident, and Teddie is now neutered. Thank you Doc Mullins for all the great work you do for our furry patients.”

“I took my 17 year old beagle to VCA after his cancer had spread and his quality of life was rapidly deteriorating. The entire staff and specially Dr Betts were absolutely incredible with us. Dr Betts sat with us, not only to explain the euthanasia process in detail, but also she sat down to confort us, hear us and reassure us this was the right time for our fur baby to go. She was kind, respectful and very loving throughout the entire process. I am glad I had her by my side in that very difficult time of letting my buddy of 17 years go. “Dr Peterson saved my dogs life & I cannot be anymore grateful for what her and the staff have done for Binx! We called at 5pm on Thursday and was told to come ASAP her and her staff ran a lot of test on my dog and stayed past closing time to finish his test. I got a call from the Dr as soon as they opened the next day with results and was told to come back in for more testing. I had no appointment either time and they got Binx looked at immediately. This is a very honest and fair priced vet. She was honest and referred me to a 24/7 animal hospital which saved his life. Thank you guys for everything you guys do!”

“I needed to board my dog Jack for the Memorial Day weekend and being new to the area I wasn't sure who I could trust. Where we used to live my dog's vet was with VCA so it was nice to see there was a VCA here in Cape Coral and they also had a pet resort. So for me, it was a win win situation. It was so easy to transfer Jack's records over here since both veterinarians are under VCA. Before boarding I took him in to get caught up on his vaccines and to establish a relationship with the new vet. Everyone there was so friendly, patient and professional. Boarding him here was a breeze they didn't require prescreening like some other boarding places in the area. They didn't require unnecessary vaccines, just the main ones. Baywood does one on one care with the animals so the dogs get the full attention of the technician, which I loved. When I dropped off Jack the boarding tech came to pick him up at the waiting room and asked me to leave him like you would a child on the first day of kindergarten. I thought it was funny but I totally understood. When I picked up Jack he was happy to see me and the boarding tech. told me how it did. I took him home and bathed him (my choice) and he passed out on the couch. Now Jack has only been boarded twice before this and both times they were not pleasant. Both times he was boarded was in Broward county on the east coast of Florida. One time he caught kennel cough (he was vaccinated) and the other time he came back hoarse and with a rash on his stomach. When I picked up Jack at Baywood he was peppy, he wasn't hoarse, didn't get any illnesses, nothing. If you don't mind not having all the perks of a pool, live webcams and group playtime then I would highly recommend this pet resort. The only thing I would have loved is to see the inside where they slept, to see how big it is. This will be our go to place for boarding Jack when he can't come with us.”

“This time going to get Ruby's nails clipped the wait was a much shorter time the last time I was there I had to wait almost 2 hours just to get nails done This time it was a 30 minute wait and that is good Thank you so much I enjoyed the service.”

“My dog had tumor surgery and needed an overnight stay at the main hospital on country club drive Debbie the overnight nurse technician was beyond incredible she called me several times thru the night to give me updates and was very professional and caring knowing how I was feeling this hospital is quite fortunate to have someone like her she deserves to be reconignized”

“We have been going here since 2017 which says a lot but today, a Saturday, was exceptional. We knew our precious Beau was dying but wasn’t sure when & of course wanted as many days or even hours with him as possible as long as he wasn’t suffering. They had prepared us for the warning signs of wording lymphoma & yesterday the signs began & got worse through the night & the next day. From my initial phone call the advise, caring, professionalism shown by all the staff was outstanding. They ushered us into a private room immediately & helped us make one of the hardest decisions we’ve had to make ever! There was no rush & we & & our dog were treated with dignity & respect. Beau definitely RIP. I’d thank the staff individually but was too distraught to catch names. We we even able to leave privately. Thank you again!”

“I purchased the puppy monthly membership. We have gone 2x for a vet visit. The first time my spouse went and he had no complains. The second time I got to take our pup. I actually showed up a week early (my fault) and they were able to get me in! I was surprised and thankful because I had taken hours off work to do this. The vet tech was wonderful. She answered all my questions and remembered our pup ✨ that’s pretty amazing. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.”
