“We had to say goodbye to our almost 13 yo boy Hawk 2 days ago. It was as hard and horrible as I dreaded it would be as I watched him age. Our kids picked him out and he grew up with them and all of their friends. He was so special. I could not imagine going through this without Indian Creek. Dr. Marr took great care of him with his cardiac, neuro, and musculoskeletal issues. The thought and care she put into his treatment plans to keep him as pain free and happy as possible in the time he had left was priceless. He was such a happy boy right up to the finish line. The dark hours came fast and due to his issues, size and anxiety in the car Dr. Murphy kindly came and helped him cross over at home. She carried herself with utmost, kindness, compassion, grace and professionalism in a home with a family who weeps and grieves hard over their fur kid leaving, especially me. 😳 I was crazy but Dr. Murphy was so sweet and composed. As difficult as it was to let go of our boy, Dr. Murphy and the entire staff at Indian Creek and their other clinic were nothing short of amazing. They made the experience as easy as it could be. I am forever grateful and cannot recommend them enough. They are the BEST!!”

“Dr. Ira has been taking care of my furry family for over three years, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her and the Pet Wellness Center.
From our very first visit, Dr. Ira has made sure that my pets receive thoughtful, personalized care while also taking the time to educate me about their health and the different treatment options available, including holistic and homeopathic approaches. She never makes you feel rushed. She listens to your questions, explains everything thoroughly, and is incredibly attentive and gentle with your pets.
I’ve been to many veterinarians over the years, and finding a doctor who is as caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and understanding as Dr. Ira is truly rare. This is a smaller clinic, and their hours may not be as extensive as some of the larger veterinary practices, but the quality of care more than makes up for it. You and your pets are genuinely treated like family here.
I also really appreciate that Dr. Ira makes sure you understand your options and, when emergency care is needed, guides you toward the appropriate place to go based on your pet’s needs. That level of honesty and care means so much as a pet parent.

“I'm always a little leery of all the reviews being perfect. I took a leap of faith and called anyway. Was in the office an hour and a half later. Let me tell you ALL the staff was amazing. Dr Sandy listened and formed a plan to get to the cause of my baby's pain. We came home with some meds and now he's resting peacefully in my lap. If you're new to the area as we are or just need a vet for your baby's do not hesitate to call.”

“Our large Labradoole mix has been going to Dr. Ewert at South Gate since we adopted her as a puppy. My husband & I adored this dog. Fortunately, she was healthy most of her life & saw her vet for routine check ups, heartworm prevention & shots. As she aged, she had arthritis, an occasional urinary tract infection or ear infecton. Each time we took her in for a problem, Dr. Ewert explained in detail the infection, how to avoid another, and gave directions for the medication we took home. Once, he drew a diagram of a dog's ear for me to completely understand her infection. He was always spot on with diagnosis & provided me with the Rx & treatment my dog needed. Sadly, last week, Dr. Ewert and his vet tech, Jessica, had to put down our 12 yr old beloved girl. She was beginning to suffer from cancers Dr. Ewert discovered several months ago and we couldn't treat. The kindness, compassion & support this vet and his assistant gave to my dog and me on one of the hardest days of my life, were incredible. I will be forever grateful. I never felt my dog & I were just another patient and owner. Dr. Ewert and Jessica treated us with loving care. South Gate is not just a business where these two special people earn a living. They are excellent in treating your pets, but also care. And they care a lot! Sande Carrington”

Smooth and clean parking lot. Mostly easy to access. Modern and fresh building that also includes professional offices, a cell phone store and the Fort Myers Theatre.”
“I have been seeing Dr Neuman since I was 18. I will not go into detail of how long that has been but I followed her from Miracle mile. Today was an extra special occasion and I hope she sees this. Last year, almost to the day, we lost our precious Penelope! Penelope was with Dr Neuman her entire life. Well the time came and we had to make the decision to put her to sleep. We didn’t know Dr Neuman had retired and it was a quite devastating experience but we made it through. We then faced the decision to make the long journey from our home for the rest of our animals care over the next few months, would we continue to bring our animals here or find elsewhere? We live about 45 minutes away. So we did. Anyhow, we recently decided to get a puppy and she loves Dr Flannigan. We walked through the door and I almost passed out like I had seen a ghost! It was Dr Neuman in the back. I wanted to tell her everything but I just tried to stay calm. Not over load her with all the emotions from all the fuzzies and occasional feathers memories that came to me! Today we had our pups last round of distemper and we had Dr Neuman! It was a small celebration of the life of Penelope and welcoming this new kid to our family! Again I couldn’t express all the emotion that has happened over the last year, how much she has meant to my life with my animals, my little family. There’s an impact that certain doctors must not realize they make, how they change you, how they educate you, how they actually make a difference. We do not know how long she will be visiting out of retirement but are very happy to to see her again. All of our animals have their own doctors and the doctors all make each one feel special. This is the type of place that makes you realize animals still matter to others as well. Thank you for such a great team”
“San Carlos Park Animal Hospital has taken such great care of my cat. He has had very difficult to treat UTIs and the doctor has always provided several treatment options and kept me in the loop for his care. The front staff are awesome and very responsive and the techs are so friendly and thorough. I'm moving soon and wish I could take our vet with us!”

“They saved our cat's life after another Vet almost killed him. I can't thank Dr. Courtney enough for her work and advice in treating our beloved cat Tango. about 19 months ago we seeked help for a 2nd opinion. We originally used a vet that was convenient and close to our home, but Tango developed Asthma in 2020. For a few years he got steroid depot shots, but in 2023 they became less effective and they switched him to an oral steroid.
Long story short, he was overdosed and developed severe diabetes that almost killed him. It was so bad that he almost couldn't walk anymore, got necropsy in this legs. They said we have to stop steroids - knowing that this would cause him coughing and having trouble breathing. With no idea or plan for some alternatives.
Fast forward - thanks to Dr. Courtney he is a happy cat today. Necropsy fully gone, and for 2 months now he is in remission and doesn't need insulin anymore. He was on Insulin for 18 Months. He is still on his Asthma medication, which is an inhaler and he takes it well. Dr. Courtney helped him in his worst shape, we thought we'd lose him. I'm incredibly thankful to have our Tango back, our fun, loving, cuddly, witty cat! He rules our home and is back to his happy himself.”
