Wanted to make sure I left a review because this place is absolutely excellent. I'm a somewhat young looking woman without a lot of car knowledge and experience, and am very cautious when it comes to mechanics. The first time I came to the shop I had what I was pretty sure was an issue with the purge valve they were able to look at my car very quickly and confirm the source of the problem. They always take the time to explain what's going on and what it needs to be fixed in language that's clear to understand, and prices are always reasonable for the part and the amount of work needed, and complete it very quickly too. When my car broke down again last weekend, they were again able to diagnose the issue despite there being a LOT of complicated things going on with it, and put a lot of time and work into getting my car up and running again as well as updating me every step of the way with what they were doing and what they had found as far as mechanical issues in my car, again at an extremely fair price that was much lower than other quotes I'd gotten. The information that they gave ultimately helped me make the decision to trade in my old car for a newer one rather than invest more into it, and the work that I did have completed more than paid for the trade-in value I was able to secure thanks to their time and diligence working on my car. Everyone I've met there has communicated with clear honesty and integrity. They absolutely earned my trust and I'll be going there for any routine maintenance or repairs in the future!

I'm moving soon and one thing I'm sad about is not being near this mechanic anymore. Incredibly honest and reliable. They always explain the issue and what repairs are needed very clearly. They're also honest about if they aren't 100% sure, and won't sell you snake oil or just guess. I brought my car in for a noise it occasionally made when starting up, and when they couldn't recreate the issue they didn't sell me any repairs and gave me my car back at no cost.
It's tough to find a mechanic you can trust, and I'll miss this one!

Extremely pleased with the quick, honest and fair priced shop I've ever been in !! No BS just great service . The repair was on a Hyundai velociter ; shifter cable bushing . Very pleased also with courtesy towing which they referred too on the website. The whole breakdown was easy from the pickup drop-off repair.

I recently bought a used truck as a 2nd vehicle and had 5 days to check it out to see if I wanted to keep it or return it. Scott was able to get me in in that period of time. I heard about Mechanic's Plus through a local Facebook group and they came highly recommended. They did a thorough check up on the vehicle and told me about a possible issue I could have down the road but it was nothing major. Scott was very honest and didn't try to tell me I needed anything extra. They worked on the truck for a while and the price for that service was very reasonable plus the peace of mind for me as a female buying a used truck was worth it. Use local and not one of those on-line mechanics that come to you. So if you are going to purchase a used vehicle I suggest taking it to these guys to have it checked out first. Just call ahead of time and see how busy they are.

I came from Kissimmee to see Scott and team, but I would drive even further if it meant I could get my repairs done here. You could tell they actually want to help, they were very transparent and honest. I don’t know the first thing about cars, which makes me a very easy target for other mechanics, but they did not treat me that way. I will definitely be coming back.

The air conditioner in my Honda CRV was not cooling at all. I took my Honda to Mechanics Plus in Casselberry they had to order the parts.The service was great, they repaired my air conditioner, and I picked it up the next day . Thank you Scott for great service!!

I have had many great experiences taking my car to Mechanics Plus. Today they checked out my car issue for free. They have always been very honest and upfront with their findings and suggestions, and their prices are fair. I highly recommend this auto shop.

It’s hard to find a good mechanic these days so I’ll save you the headache this is not one of them. I’m not sure if there is new ownership or what but based off recent reviews and my experience this place has gone down hill. This is not my main mechanic they are just close to me and I couldn’t get into my mechanic in time. I originally brought my car for a water pump replacement a few months back. After about a week or two it started leaking again so I took it back to get fixed, which they claimed didn’t happen. I recently had some oil leaks and had my main mechanic work on it when they told me the water pump was leaking. I brought it back AGAIN to mechanic plus to fix it. I figured while it was there I’d get the alignment checked and I asked while it was in the air could they throw a zip tie on the passenger side tire flap because it had gotten loose the day before. I should have done it myself. Long story short they claim the water pump isn’t leaking even though I drove it home after and found coolant drops under the engine. They also didn’t check the alignment they did a tire rotation I didn’t authorize. Finally the cherry on top they charged me $60 for a zip tie. I asked for one zip tie on one side and they claim they secured a few spots which was not necessary and I didn’t ask for. I was never told ahead of time of the extra work or what it would cost. Avoid this mechanic unless you like being nickel and dimed and sub par work. Why lose a customer over a zip tie?
Update: I took the car back to warranty the leaking water pump. I dropped it off on Saturday when they were closed and I got a call Monday morning saying it was done and the water pump was replaced. I was already suspicious of the work actually being done because there’s no way they tested and replaced a water pump in a morning. The next day it was leaking worse than before. I had to refill the coolant twice just to get it to the shop that originally informed me that the new pump was leaking. They checked and informed me that the pump was never replaced under the warranty like mechanic plus claims they did. Not just that but after pressure testing the pump they found the problem was just a broken clamp above the pump and it was an easy fix. Save yourself the headache and go anywhere else. This place is a scam at best and incompetent at worst.
