The Customer service at the front counters needs to be better. It takes 2 seconds to greet a customer and direct them to the appropriate lines for package pickup. They literally watched me stand at the pickup window (which is typically where you’d stand to retrieve a package) and never once mentioned that i would need to stand in line for a package pickup. Several people came in and were services ahead of me. finally i said “should i be in line? Will anyone come to help at this window?”.. Nope. Please do better. Communication goes a long way.

It was my pleasure meeting Bob. He assisted me with processing my passport renewal. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable, helping me fill out the forms. I like this post office and would recommend it.

This Post Office has single handedly destroyed any faith I had on this once hallowed institution. They have destroyed two diplomas by stuffing them inside a box too small for it (DO NOT BEND clearly marked on the envelope but I guess instructions are lame). When I confronted the Postman inside the mailroom, he immediately stated that it wasn’t his fault. Ok, cool, zero accountability. I then went to this office to complain to the shift supervisor. After a multitude of excuses, he then stated he would find out who was responsible and “talk” to them. He then just…stopped talking to me like the matter was closed. I stated that I was not satisfied with his answer, and that I still had the issue of my destroyed diploma. This person then had the audacity to look me in the windows of my soul and said the following, “oh, you can keep it”. That alone should tell you how incompetent the Post Office has become.
I no longer trust the US Postal Service to deliver my mail.

Not sure about mail, but I showed up before their designated walk-in Hours to get a Passport and apparently they were already full for the day! I arrived before 1PM and their designated walk-in Hours is 1-2PM on Wed-Fri. I couldn’t believe that they would only process 3-4 walk-ins in the entire 1 hour. I went over to the Orange County Clerk of Courts in Winter Park where they allow walk-ins all day and got done with the entire process in a reasonable timeframe.

I can’t say much about the post office ever being a good experience for anyone, but I recently had my passport appointment here and it was so pleasant. I made my appointment a month in advance on the website because I needed to go in on Saturday because of my work hours. It was super easy to set up. I went early in the morning and was helped by Bob. He was super kind and thorough with the whole process! He didn’t over explain anything or under explain. It was the perfect amount of information to make the whole experience speedy and thorough at the same time. I’ve just never went to a US post office and actually been treated like I was a human being let alone someone doing something they’ve never done before and Bob was a pleasant surprise to change that standard for me.

I was late to get my passport, which was a given. Yes, it was my fault but the place was literally empty. It takes 10 mins tops to do a PP when all information is done. I just went to courthouse in Winter Park because they took walk ins and they were done less than 10 mins. They changed my appointment for my passport at this location but forbid I'm late.

Just moved to the area and we had a very pleasant experience at this post office.
We had a large package that couldn’t be delivered to our apartment. Now, the delivery email said they knocked on the door (we were home but no one knocked) and said they would try again. The following day, the email said it couldn’t be delivered because it was too large…
So we called and our package was being held at this post office. We talked with the manager and explained our situation. (We had no vehicle large enough to bring the package back.) He was a very nice guy and had one of his delivery drivers take a truck and personally drop it off to us. It wasn’t a far drive but they were very nice to do this for us with the complications of our package.

Someone there is a thief. I have had several credit cards stolen & credit cards opened since moving to this area 7 months ago. I have actually taken my mail back & shown the manager that it was sliced open.. he said he would look into & reach out! Never heard from him again. Ridiculous

My biggest regret in moving to this side of town is dealing with this completely incompetent post office. They are all rude- I dread even going in to have to deal with these people who work there. We’ve had far too many issues to list, between the lock on our mailbox constantly breaking, to getting attitude on simply asking to add tracking to a piece of mail- Even the smallest thing you ask will be blown off or brushed off. Also unreliable package scans, I run a small business and sometimes my packages wont even scan in for days. I never ever, in a million years had this issue with any other post office that I have been to. I wish I could go anywhere but here, and honestly I’ll be making the drive to go elsewhere and take the gas hit over dealing with this office.
