Kayak Cedar Keys offers easy and economical kayak rentals for exploring the beautiful location around Cedar Key. It is a relaxed, walk-up experience with options for two or four hours, with the longer rental recommended to fully relax and explore. Paddlers can easily visit several islands and keys, including a beautiful and easy paddle out to Atsena Otie Key. The area is perfect for seeing dolphins, birds, sea turtles, manatees, and other wildlife in the estuary and gulf. The staff is helpful and friendly. Renters should be aware that payment is by card over the phone and to ask about tides, as shallow areas in the estuaries can be an issue.
After watching the dolphins play from the shore for a few days we decided to go paddle next to them. Del provided everything we needed for an amazing experience. Love Cedar Key and people like Del who make it such a wonderful place.

Very easy walk up experience to rent on the spot. The options are 2 or 4 hours. I would definitely recommend the 4 hr rental if you truly wish to relax and boat out to the island, explore the marshes. The rental vibe is very relaxed.
