I really like this hardware store. They have the basic things you need, and several versions of items that can withstand Cedar Key's salty air. All of their metal ties are galvanized, to prevent the Florida rust.

I just moved here and found out that Cedar Key has it’s own Mr. Potter (It’s a Wonderful Life). His name is Ronnie Taylor and owns Taylor Construction Company and Marina Hardware. While the employees are wonderful, I will no longer do business with either, the owner is a nasty, bitter, power hungry tyrant in this little town of 800 people.It is hard to find good help around here, but worse when the people you have to use are mean and nasty, because “they can”. Completely uncalled for and unnecessary.

The owner of this hardware store has been mean and rude to many people in town, including to me. It is completely uncalled for and I won't do business with the hardware store ever again as a result. It is too bad because the employees are really nice.
