Switchgrass Outfitters & Airboat Tours offers amazing airboat tours on the St. Johns River and wetlands near Christmas, Florida. The tours are a favorite, described as the best by a longshot. Captain Seth is a super nice guy, a great guide, and a pleasure to have as a guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the swamp, its history, and all the living creatures Florida has to offer. He answers all questions and shares that knowledge, pointing out points of interest. Guests see so many different species of birds, flowers, plants, and especially alligators. Many reviews note they could not believe how many gators they saw. The dinner tour is suggested, featuring a wonderful dinner at a very local restaurant with excellent food and atmosphere. The business also offers hog hunts with dogs, which are an absolute blast. Guests highly recommend the tours for a great trip and a good ole time, with many planning to revisit.
Had a great time on our tour! Seth was really nice and informative. He showed us all around and told us about the history of the area. The ride itself is really fun, too. I would definitely do this again and would recommend it to others. It was a great price for the experience we had.
