I went there today for wedges from the deli, a soda and a bag of tobacco. The girl in the deli was nice, but the owner, Mike (who's not even a citizen after nearly 20 years) tried to gouge me. Apparently, if you are poor you can get 4 wedges for $1, but if you have money you have to pay $6.99 a pound. I worked at that store, depending on the wedges, a pound is only 10-12 wedges. When I said something to Mike that he can't charge 2 different prices, he literally claimed the 4 for a $1 was for people that didn't have money. It's bad enough he can't sell lottery tickets because he was ripping people off, but now he wants to overcharge on his other products. And when half his products come from Sam's Club instead of a distributor, which is also against the law, it's got to stop. Yes, I quit working there because of how he spoke to me, but I still liked the food and would still buy it when I had the extra money, even though it's over priced.
