Let me just warn those with autistic children/ family members, the manager here would rather smoke cigarettes outside all day then run her store so if you have someone who is mentally challenged and takes time looking around and doesn't like to be close to people because of thier disability then just know they may be treated as though they are stealing or taking to long and the store manager and one of her employees that's alot older do not have empathy they traumatized my son to the extreme he wouldn't go back in the store for 6 months shopping only at the BP as he doesn't like to cross the main highway to the dg ... unless I'm with him and because he is 24 he doesn't like to ask for help, my son is a very kind person with a debilitating brain cyst and autistic it IS NOT UP TO HIM TO LEARN TO CHANGE HIS BEHAVIORS IT IS US THE ONES AROUND HIM THAT NEED TO LEARN HOW TO RESPOND TO THOSE AUTISTIC, it just goes to show how inhumane people can be..upon addressing this issue the Manger was very reluctant to believe her employees did anything wrong or did she care to hear ...today I had to go to her store as my vehicle broke down and I needed a product she had so I went in and she cashed me out ...I said thank you she said nothing...all because she was upset I told her a while back I won't spend money in her store due to this incident not even being attempted to be addressed in fact she was quite snotty because I asked if she had a very elder lady working late night in her store and she replied why ....thats rude to ask an age ??? I'm quite calm until you mess with my family especially my son who cannot elaborate correctly or defend himself yet i held myself together she must love her cigarettes more than her karma or sleep.....what's HER EXCUSE for NOT wanting to get to the bottom of what happened? she don't belong in management... thats discrimination on a disabled person!

I use this store when I need something quick. It is 3 miles from my house. I live in rural part of Marion County. Closet grocery is 10 miles one way or 13 the other. Employees are always very helpful and friendly.

A gallon of 2% milk was marked $3.95. By the time I checked out it was $4.05. Walmart and Aldies have the same product for $3.03 and $3.01. The 10 pack of garbage bags rang up $1.00 as posted. I expected some sort of a mark-up because this is a little store but, not more than 33%. I’m so sorry for people that have to shop here. I’ll try Dollar General (across the street) the next time I’m in a pinch.
