AC Hotel Clearwater Beach

Hotels
Hours: The AC Hotel Clearwater Beach offers a great location, just a block away from the main Clearwater public beach access area. The modern rooms and a nice rooftop pool are appealing features. However, guests should be aware of the additional costs, including $40 for parking and $20 for the breakfast buffet. The check-in process and bar service are generally praised, but there have been some issues with the front desk staff's competence and responsiveness. The rooms are described as plain but clean, though the bed comfort is reported to be poor, with visibly sunken mattresses. Room service is not available, and the breakfast, while okay, is not considered worth the $20 price tag. The lobby area is nice, but the hallways and carpets are reportedly filthy, and guests have had to wear flip-flops in the room due to dirty floors. Despite these drawbacks, the overall service is described as great, with Donna and her team being attentive to guests' needs. The hotel's rooftop pool and central location, allowing easy access to the surrounding area, are also highlighted as positive aspects.
