We had a large group and the owner Stella provided us with a great dining experience and a five course meal. All the food was delicious followed by a tasty Tiramisu.

From the experience we had yesterday we think that this restaurant is not deserving the past recensions - most likely strategically motivated (look at the names, the date and the strange style in wich these "reviews" were written). Our reservation was professionally delt with, our waiter was friendly and motivated and the food was clearly the best italian dish we experienced so far on our 3 weeks stay in the Clearwater area. I am often in different regions of Italy and not only our food but as well the plates carried to other tables were looking absolutely comparable to what you experience there. The seating outside at the water is adding to that good experience. We really can not imagine how these last recesions were coming about. We only can recommend not to get influenced by this tendentious waffeling. You would miss a good opportunity for a great evening and delicious food.

I recently had the displeasure of dining at Al and Stella Authentic Italian Restaurant And Pizzeria (Water Front), and I must say, it was a complete disaster. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an atmosphere of chaos and incompetence. The service was abysmal, with wait times that could rival a snail's pace. I waited a staggering two hours for my food to arrive, only to be met with disappointment. It's evident that the management, particularly Stella (the lady with long blond hair), has no clue how to run a restaurant efficiently. The food itself was lackluster at best, with flavors that were as bland as the service. It's clear that Al and Stella's idea of "authentic Italian cuisine" is nothing more than a sad imitation.Save yourself the time and frustration, and steer clear of this establishment. With terrible service and even worse management, Al and Stella Authentic Italian Restaurant And Pizzeria (Water Front) is a dining experience you'll want to forget.

I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Al and Stella Authentic Italian Restaurant And Pizzeria (Water Front), and it was nothing short of disappointing. The service was atrocious, with wait times stretching to an unbearable two hours for our food to arrive. To make matters worse, the management, particularly Stella with her long blond hair, seemed completely incompetent and uninterested in addressing our concerns. Save yourself the headache and avoid this establishment at all costs.

Greg served us. Food and service was absolutely fanatic ( coming from 2 Italians). Beautiful atmosphere with water side view! Reasonable priced. And the marinara sauce was the star of the show! Thank you Greg!!

My husband and I decided to try this place out while in the area this past weekend. The wait for our food was long, we never received bread, the water had a funny taste, and my fish was extremely dry. Very disappointing and overall wouldn’t

The place is cute. Service was good, we were the only table (Tuesday night). The food was eh. I’m an Italian food snob, admittedly. I ALWAYS look for places that are owned by native Italians because usually it’s food like Italy. This wasn’t. I got chicken parm (which isn’t really an Italian dish more Italian American). I wanted Frutti di Mare cuz I saw it on the website. Drove 25 mins to be disappointed that the menu was a fraction of what it once was when the website was up to date. The chicken were frozen cutlets I’m near certain. The sauce tasted good. We go one soda, garlic bread and 2 chicken parms. $72 with tip. A bit much for what it was. I’m not surprised being Florida. I am surprised being owned by a native Italian though. I think for most people it would be good. But as I said, I’m used to excellent and food in Italy. This wasn’t it for me. I truly think they once were great, and maybe lost the passion. Because the website menu looks very good.

I LOVE DINNER BY THE WATER. It's hard to find good Italian food with great water front views. The water front dining was so peaceful here. The service and food on the outdoor deck was just what I was looking for today. It was a bit chilly from the winds so outside heaters would have been perfect. I will definitely be returning.
