Called in advanced to see if the pool will be open. They said it will be. It was closed the whole trip. We got there Thursday and when we checked in they said it will be open Friday. They took our money and the pool was never opened. Terrible customer service. They just don’t care. Do not stay

Hotel is on the beach in Clearwater. Has 2 heated outside pools. A restaurant & fire bar up on the rooftop over looking the city & golf of Mexico. Very quiet hotel. I gave service 3 stars because when we asked front desk staff for a razor, they said they couldn’t give it to us it had to be brought to our room. The breakfast is very lousy but there are lots of good restaurants in the close walking vicinity. Overall a great stay.

What a beautiful location to spend the night, especially on New Years Eve!!! We loved our room, we were disappointed that the room we booked (overlooking the ocean) was not the room we got due to a mess up by the hotel, but other than that, we were happy with our stay. We did the rooftop bar New Years Eve experience. It was $30 pp and you were supposed to get 2 champagne toast, one when you get there & one for midnight, but we never got the 2nd one. Not sure it was worth what we paid, but we did have a good time. The fireworks were spectacular. The continental breakfast looked a bit boring so we went elsewhere.Rooms: Rooms were spaciousWalkability: Lots to see within walking distance

I stayed there for one night and got a room overlooking the ocean. It was fantastic. I got to see the big bridges and every room has a view very top notch. Thank you edge for a great Florida experience. I took a lot of shots for some music promotions and advertisements that I do at the hotel for the views. Enjoy! Love you edgeRooms: Huge square footage. Love the decor! You can literally just do the amenities for the hotel. Your whole trip and be super satisfied with all this service, it's great. Perfect for business and photo and video advertising.

One person working on checking in, on phone. Lobby was dirty, looked like they had finished up a party without cleaning up. Great location to everything. Just disappointed in service and cleanliness.

Very bad experience at this hotel. We were there for 2 nights.1) mattress and pillow was horrible, i could not sleep at all.2) Staff in night was very rude. She was charging me extra fee at check-in and when i refused, her comment was, sit in lobby for the night, manager will come in morning and address the issue.3) We negotiated that I will pay it in the night and manager will talk to me in morning about it. Morning came, she dissappeared and Manager didnt knew anything. He was going to check on it and never got back to me. I had to eventually pay the charges.4) The hotel doesnt have a sofa bed in king bedroom. What a shame!5) Breakfast was stale and useless, even when they charged $32 scam fee for resort that included breakfast charge. Eggs were stinking and smelly.Overall, poor experience. I will not recommend this place.Rooms: Rotten breakfast.Food & drinks: Poor bed and pillow

let me just say that the views from the room was outstanding. They was very clean and comfortable. The food was awesome and you must have the nachos they are phenomenal. The parking and the hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. The 1 star was for the bar on the roof. The first Lady that served us knew exactly what she was doing and how much things where ... but we visited the bar 3 other times and was charged 3 different prices for the same drinks. Then to top it all off the last night we was in the bar we noticed a mysterious 12 dollar charge on our ticket. When we asked what this was for we was informed with a straight face that it was "we charged you that if you don't tip us 20%".... Personally I was livid ... Number 1 there is no sign on your door that says I have to tip you anything .... 2 the reason your prior tips was so low is because of the push back we received on your ability to even make and serve the drink we wanted and wanted to argue with us about it even though we just had it in your establishment that day for a cheaper price mind you... lastly because of the inconsistent charges and what we felt was shaddyness on your part we never tipped 20% after our first trip. From how we was treated and you trying to sneak that charge in on our last night there I'd say we was spot on in regards to your shaddyness. what is really concerning is how many other people you have done that too that didn't catch it .... Again the hotel staff was phenomenal but the staff at the bar needs some work and training on how you EARN tips and not demanding them or STEALING them. Because of their actions we didn't attend the new years eve celebration. I would encourage everyone to check your tickets!!!!Rooms: very nice and clean roomsWalkability: very short walk to the pier and other eating places

The first thing my wife and I said when we entered our hotel room was "it's bigger than we expected!" The next was, "this is nice!"We got a king room, and had the most enjoyable relaxing experience here. The balcony was a wonderful place to sit in the morning, the walk to and from the beach was easy and quick, and we loved the Taco Bus just downstairs as well. There's a market a few blocks down, the rooftop bar is fun to check out for a short time, but the menu is just bar food, nothing spectacular that we noticed. We tried the pretzel, it's your standard pretzel just in a fun shape. At night we were able to log in to our own streaming accounts on the smart TV and relax with a show before bed.We only did the pool one day out of our six, and while it was fun watching the boats while sipping drinks from the edge pool, and seeing the sun go down (terrific sunset view), it was a cold walk back up to our room as the towels had run out. The breakfast is fine, nothing spectacular, but it gets something in your stomach before you start moving and you have a nice outdoor area option to eat it in too. A wonderful experience overall. We'll be returning to the Edge again. Overall, A+ grade!Tips for travelers -bring a towel down with you to the poolIf you're headed to the beach, take a left after the second stoplight, and stroll along the beach - makes for a relaxing walk down to the pier (or sooner if preferred).Don't expect too much for breakfastFood elsewhere will be better (Salty's, Taco Bus, Jimmy's Fish House & Iguana Bar, We The Pizza, Bait House are all A+ options)Rooms: Spacious, plenty of room for our luggage and you don't feel cramped. Bed was nice, everything about the room was bigger and nicer than we expected. Loved the large balcony. I'm sure the views vary but no matter the direction you look in Clearwater there's a nice view!Nearby activities: Wake up early and go shell hunting, bar hop, have a lazy beach day, play volleyball, take a boat tour (Little Toot is awesome), you can quickly and easily fill a week here if you love the water :)Walkability: Easy walk to the beach if you're in ok shape. A few blocks gets you to the little beachside walkway, and from there you can either move left and catch the beach to walk along, or use the large walkway - either way it's a beautiful view and walk, with plenty of options to stop along the way (ice cream or coffee lovers have a pit stop option about halfway down the walkway before you get to the pier. Worth a stop!)Food & drinks: Margaritas at the pool are convenient and well-made, but I'd rather go downstairs and out to another location than back up to the rooftop bar. Cool idea and vibe, but just wasn't blown away by food choices.
