If I could give this guy a 00, I would! First, he shows up late. Then when asked to produce credential, he acts as if we were asking for his ssn...he wouldn't give a definite cost to replace a water heater, and just started working without having an agreed amount for work. I felt he was shifty, but I wanted to give him a chance. Man, was this a mistake.after coming to an agreement, he now says has to get materials. "Ok...I sent pictures prior to the appointment" Now more time has to be wasted on going to Lowes. So, he returns and starts the project, towards the end, after advising me to reuse the old expansion tank, because he wants to save me money. No...you wanted to take shortcuts...not saving me money. The expansion tank falls off and water is spitting everywhere. This guy had no clue on proper intsallation of tank. Couple days later, the inspector comes out to signed off on work and fails it because of improper intsallation of expansion tank. We made attempts to call him back, after he says "you are family and whatever you need." Never returned calls. He then finally text back after we stating you need to comeback out to bring the expansion tank up to code. He says" I will be out tomorrow " Of course this never happened. I really didn't want him to return to touch anything. As a result, I had to pay someone else to install it correctly. AVOID THIS GUY LIKE A PLAGUE!!!Service: Plumbing services

I was employed by Aaron, he worked me over 80 hours only paid me 200. I then contacted the property owner to let him know of this and he then decided to lie to him but telling him he paid me 1200 when he didn't. Not only on top of that he still has all my tools and refuses to give them back. I just want to be paid for my work and my tools returned. He is always about getting over on the next person. It is wrong what he did to me. I worked hard for him did everything he asked and some and in the end getting the short end of the stick. If he does this to people he employs what do you think he will do to the home owners.??

I am sad to say that I have to give Aaron at A 1 HOME services a bad review and leave this up to you if you want to use his services. We hired him to hang and remove the wood for our windows for Hurricane Ian. He was late getting here but did hang what we needed fast and to the best of his abilities, however afterward he never returned phone calls and never took the wood back down leaving 3 HOMEOWNERS stranded and forced to find others to complete his work.As noted when it was time to remove the wood he never returned our phone calls and had very poor communication with some of the homeowners with just short texts saying he would be here the next day. After putting up the wood he scheduled a time of 3:00 on Friday 9/30 to take the wood down. When we found out that we received no damage we called him on WEDNESDAY 9/28 to see if he wanted to come out early. We never heard back until 3:00 on FRIDAY 9/30 when he was supposed to be there. He then told us that he had family problems and would come out on SATURDAY 10/1.SATURDAY 10/1... no show and no communication. On SUNDAY 10/2 after waiting 2 DAYS we finally get a text stating that his dad had a heart attack but would be out on MONDAY 10/3. . On MONDAY he finally texts me... still not a single call, to explain that he was waiting on his mom to come to the hospital and then he would come over.... he never showed and we were forced to have others take down the wood for us.As a person that had a heart attack, I can truly understand what he is going through. I met his dad and he is a very nice man that already had troubles in his life. However, Aaron also could have taken time to come out and do partial work to show that he was still committed to completing the job or at even offered to refund some of our money. I hope that his dad pulled through safely and our prayers will be with him but I think he also needs to work on better communication skills and take extra steps to make sure he can finish the project. Even if it means hiring someone else to do it.

Beware, scam business.Called this technician (Rodney) a couple of days before Hurricane Ian was supposed to hit us.Paid for ply wood installation to protect my windows from Hurricane winds. The listed cost was $25 per window, but the owner insisted for $75 per window, because of high demand.I agreed. He asked for pre-paying half of the cost. Did that too.Called at around 9am in the morning. Checking in during the day, he said that he had other clients before me, but he assured me that he would come.Fast forward, 8pm.Rodney calls and says he has a flat tire.He apologies a few times and asks if he could postpone the work for the morning of the next day.I give him the benefit of the doubt and agreed.Next morning he doesn't show up, of course. Now he's not responding to calls or texts and is refusing to issue a refund.Im disputing the transaction with my bank, so im not concerned about the money at all.I was more concerned about the safety of my family.Thankfully the hurricane didn't hit us, but if it did, our windows would have not survived the winds.I trusted this business and they failed to show up.They tried to scam me for my money and they put my family and my property at risk. There are so many other fair, honest and reliable businesses out there. Stay away from this one.Service: Hurricane impact window installation

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! This company is performing inadequate work and has unethical business practices. I had received a verbal quote over the phone and was told that the quote would be emailed to me... it never was. Then while we were away from our house they came and placed cement on our front porch and then texted me an invoice and called me expecting payment over the phone. I advised the service guy that I was willing to make a payment but the invoice he sent me was for $550 and the previous verbal quote was $250. He threatened me stating that he was going to take me to court. I hung up and he called me back repeatedly. That evening when I arrived hone, I found the cement that they had laid was uneven and their was debris on my front door and walkway. They said they would return to paint and seal the cement but still have not, and it has been 2 months since they did the original unapproved job.

Well the owner Aaron stated the trailer, which it is not, it's a mobile home was unsanitary, and had to hire a cleaning service prior to painting, which is an actual lie. I spent a week every day for 8 hours a day cleaning, wiping walls, vacuuming blinds, and cleaning and sanitizing every nook and cranny since it's been empty for awhile prior to any workers coming in. And.... His workers consisted of one person, his brother. A1 might have 127 pictures, but it doesn't show the end result of the job completed. Here are just a few photos of the paint job that I received.
