Highly recommended. I had issues with another shop, which went on for a few months. I brought my vehicle to this AAMCO location and David got me taken care of immediately. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff, great communication, and extremely fair! I can't say enough about how great of an experience I've had here versus some other shops. I highly recommend THIS AAMCO location (MLK Clearwater) for all mechanical needs.

Brought my vehicle here for transmission work and they had our car for 2 weeks when we got it back rat shit all over the car and my backseat torn up from rats so if they have you4 vehicle be prepared to have a rat in it while they got it and once I got my car home it's smoking a lot and come to find out after they worked on it my coolant tank hose port was broken off wasn't an issue when I brought it to them
Been a few months and transmission is leaking from aamco working on it brought it back and they tried saying it was my power steering then tried charging me 1800 when it's my transmission leaking they didn't wanna fix there problem wouldn't recommend to anyone

My transmission going couldn't have happened at a worse time! These wonderful people have gone above and beyond to do the work that I needed to get me back on the road as quickly as possible! They are amazing people, and I truly believe God directed me to them! I will be referring everyone who asks me to them! Even for something as small as an oil change! Integrity is priceless, and they have it in abundance!

I can't thank Sal and the team enough for saving the day! I was driving from Texas to Florida to visit family for the holidays, and on Christmas Day, I turned my car on to find the transmission light on. I was in a total panic because I needed to get back to Texas the next day. Thankfully, I was able to get an 8am appointment the next morning.
Sal was absolutely amazing—he reassured me right away and diagnosed the issue in just 20 minutes, clearly explained the necessary repairs. To my relief, within 1.5 hours, my car was good to go again!
I am so grateful for their quick, professional, and honest service. If you're ever in need of reliable car repairs, I highly recommend them. Sal and the team went above and beyond to make sure I was back on the road safely and quickly!

140k on the 2014 Chevy truck. Transmission torque converter goes out and a whole rebuild needs done. Two attempts to fix it over 3 weeks and 5k later the truck runs as it should. Fixed and good for another 100k. Fingers crossed.

The gentleman that got on the phone with me was a complete idiot. I asked for transmission fluid to be filled and he went on to say how since my motor was replaced the mechanic was an idiot and didn’t fill fluid cause he was lazy and probably messed my tranny up. Like wow all this due to asking about fluid, I hope no one has been screwed over by this guy, they permanently lost my family’s business.

My sister-in-law spent $2500 to have her transmission fixed in December and here we are stranded an hour from home due to a non-working transmission. She had to return it three times to have it fixed properly.

Nothing like having a bad day turned around. Mary was so helpful took the stress out on what to do to get my vehicle towed. Now fixed and ready to go. Reasonable cost, honest people.

Big thanks to Sal, Kim, and Moe for getting my car adjusted quickly! Just had my transmission replaced here a week ago and brought my car back for the 200 mile follow up and they had me back on the road in under an hour. My car is running so much nicer ! Thanks guys!
