Don't take your car here. We brought our Lincoln in here for transmission repair. They gave a 1 year warrantee. Within 6 months trans was slipping and took it back. It took weeks to get it fixed with no calls letting us know the status. Everytime I called they said they would get back to me. But no calls from them. Finally the car was ready for pick up. I didn't even make it home from their shop before the trans was slipping again. Turned around brought it back. Waited for weeks for it to get fixed with no calls on status of the car. Finally got it back. This fix lasted another few months. Took it back again. Received no calls on status. Called them 3 x to get up date. Now they say the car is out of warrantee. Not a single repair lasted more than 6 months. They claim to be experts. I say not .

They didn’t replace the cooler as recommended by ford got stranded out of town cost me 200 in towing fees had. Called to talk to them and bob gave me an attitude right off the bat. They refuse to do anything about it. Even those it was bad parts at lest over to spilt you pay parts I’ll pay labor I would except. But nothing. Run away shotty workmanship Now I have to pay 5400 to rebuilt again. Run run run away

DON’T TRUST THERE WARRANTY BECAUSE THEY CANT EVEN FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY ALSO HAD MY TRUCK THERE TWO TIME AND STILL NOT FIX TO PRESENT DAY. AND THE OWNER SAM HIMSELF WAS GOING TO FIX IT. From October 25 of 2023. I drove the truck 127 miles in total. -60 miles from his shop to my house. In total I drove 67 miles. I don’t recommend this shop to no one because apparently they don’t know what they’re doing on transmissions or brake jobs or vehicles in general. And including the Owner AKA SAM
They also had my truck at there shop for one month and couldn’t not fix my brakes or my transmission problem. They also wanted me to go two different Aamco shops

Lets be honest no one wakes up in the morning, and say today I'd like my transmission to break, right? Well, it can be a tough decision when selecting where to get it fixed, however, at the end of the day, I'm super grateful for Marks ability to thoroughly inform me of everything that was wrong with my Toyota tundra's transmission along the way. Plus Sammie's handwork of getting the job done in a professional and timely manner. My truck being a work truck cost me money daily everyday it's down, so I'm very pleased with Aamco of Countryside quick turn around on my new rebuilt upgraded transmission! Thanks guys I appreciate it.

If you have transmission problems you need to go to Amco in Clearwater. Sam the owner and his crew of helpers and technicians are always fantastic to work with. Fair honest pricing. I've been going there for years. I also recommend a lot of friends and neighbors to go there if they're having issues. Even mechanics in the area send them to Aamco Transmissions if they need transmission work

The literal reason I only use mechanics I know . These poor people who come here have people not fixing the actual issue and just switching out pricey parts to get constant return service . And then when it becomes a bigger issue they just hold cars for years and break parts intentionally, that or they really are unintelligent . Either way completely everything that is wrong with the auto industry . They also have horrible business ethics . Pretending to have only one mechanic who is only there at 730 am sharp and telling any woman who goes there how they are going to make decisions on even what color her parts should be not her . Basically they are condescending morons who can't even fix a small part or run actual diagnostics and then resolve the actual issues . And I'm sure it's all intentional.

These comedians tore up my $300 flex plate and installed the washers on the wrong side of the drive shaft on my Mercedes. Took me 2 years to figure out what is wrong with my car, do not go here. This place should be condemned. $5000 for a joke, OVER filled my transmission with the cheapest Walmart fluid, I had to teach the "expert of 40 years" not to overfill a Mercedes transmission, and drain it. The car failed immediately. Took them another 2 weeks. Ive been driving it with a noise for a while nobody could tell me what the hell is the problem, had to do it myself. Pathetic mechanics, do not go here. It is a messy place and the guys literally stink, and at their jobs.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the owner Sam’s honesty. I was scheduled to have a seal replaced that could have been $1500. He figured out that I didn’t need it. I would have never known had he chosen to just do what I scheduled. Also, he charged me nothing for the diagnostic. That’s solid gold.

Beware of Aamco in Clearwater, Hwy 19:
I took my 1993 Mazda MX3 to Aamco for a transmission rebuild, hoping to extend its life. What followed was a year-long nightmare of misdiagnoses, unfulfilled promises, and ultimately, fraud.
Aamco charged me nearly $3,200 for the rebuild, promising a smooth-shifting car. Instead, the transmission remained clunky and occasionally wouldn't engage at all. My repeated calls were met with shrugs and assurances that "everything was fine."
Months later, after multiple trips back and forth, another mechanic confirmed my worst fears: Aamco never rebuilt the transmission. They simply took my money and lied.
Proving this was a struggle. Thankfully, Mazda and another mechanic documented the untouched transmission with photos and videos. Aamco only admitted their fraud after being confronted with this evidence.
Even then, my ordeal wasn't over. The "repaired" transmission developed a leak, and Aamco's "fix" was shoddy at best.
While Aamco reimbursed me for the diagnostics and offered a warranty, the experience left me shaken and distrustful. My car may be running now, but I wouldn't recommend Aamco to anyone. Save yourself the stress and avoid this dishonest business.

This place has horrible service. They will lie to you. They will not do what you asked them to do. Instead, they will look for the most expensive repair and tell you that it is what you need. Save your money and take your car somewhere else. Sam and Mark mistreated me as if they were doing me a favor. I paid $5600. After picking up the car, it is still making noise indicating that the front axles still need to be replaced. The coolant wasn’t flushed, I have a coolant error message on the dashboard. The car hard shifts at times.
Read my horrific experience:
I called and asked that I need both front axles (left and right) replaced, and the radiator flushed. He told me it will be $900 for each side. I brought the car in. After 3 days, I called him. He said that the axles never fail in this type of car and the transmission needs to be rebuilt. He asked me, how do I know that the axles are bad? I told him that the dealership told me. With persistence, he let me know that I do not need to change the axles and the transmission needs to be rebuilt. I said okay, how much would that cost me. He said $3000. I said okay and that I also need the radiator flushed. He said no problem.
I called him twice a week to get an update. Every time I called; he told me that the car would be ready in 3 days. About 1 and a half weeks later, he let me know that the torque converter needs to be replaced. He told me that it would be ready in 3 days. After 3 days, he told me to stop calling him and that he would call me. After a week, I called him, he told me that the valve body needs to be rebuilt because he doesn’t like the way the car shifts between 2nd and 3rd gear. About 1 and a half weeks later, he called me to let me know that the car is ready to be picked up. Suddenly, he’s aggressive and is calling me every hour.
They kept the car for about 4 weeks. I incurred additional expenses for transportation to and from work.
The bill was $5600. I pulled out my credit card. He looked at me and said “are you going to use 2 credit cards?”. He judged me!
I do not recommend this place.

I brought my older car in to AAMCO last January and the repair didn't quite hold up. I brought it back in to have the repair fixed, my warranty was up in the next few miles/days. Instead of them or my repair guy SAM just giving it a quick fix and getting it out the door to just be able to work; they took the time and patience to do the job completely right, and hopefully help my car to work a few more years. A lot of you may think (that's great they did their job and upheld their warranty) but a lot of places would not have taken the time to do it right, they would put a quick fix and when I had another problem a few months down the road and came back they would just tell you sorry the warranty is up/past due. So thank you SAM and AAMCO for taking the time having the patience and getting the job done right, especially SAM it was not an easy or quick fix took, a few tries I was told to pin point my cars issue(s).
