So yesterday my husband was working on his truck. I ordered the parts online from advanced auto. The rotor was under warranty so we took it in to exchange at the Dunedin store since highland did not have the part in stock. Bo said that one had to be returned to the store we purchased it from (highland) he wrote his info on my receipt so I could take it to the manager today. No big deal... so I thought. Additionally I had to go back to advanced a couple other times... nothing unusual as that's always how it ends up. Those were from the highland store as well. At 7:30pm I purchased a caliper & returned the core for it at the same time. Unfortunately the part was wrong & they were closed by time we realized. Today I gathered all the receipts to do a simple return. I walked into advanced auto and ask for a manager. This is after 10 minutes of looking for an employee to even acknowledge I was there. A man with a name on his shirt said "Robert" came from his hideout in the back. This man proceeds to tell me "you see I'm a big guy right? So you should probably listen to what I'm telling you little mama" excuse me? He proceeds to tell me I'm returning the wrong part... yeah, I know, they gave me the wrong part. Well where's the box? They kept it & put the core in it. He continues to argue & call me little mama. Lil sweetie... and try to tell me I don't understand how cars work... dude, I don't care how it works. I understand there are 2 calipers & the core I gave you does not match the part you gave me. So then he accuses me of returning a part we bought over a year ago... despite the core being right there & the new part being shiny & silver. The core was dark black from years of wear... it's very easy to see the difference. So he refuses to give me a refund & issues a store credit. He would not return my core but removed the credit for the core.... I told him I did not want store credit. The purchases were made less than 24 hours ago & I want a refund to my card. Well I'm not doing that little mama.... I just got off the phone with corporate......the man's shirt said "Robert" yet he's doing transactions under the name "Marlo B" they kept my core but deducted the $15 core charge credit from my store credit for the caliper so they kept the core & the money for that. They charged my card $130 then refused to refund for THEIR screw up less than 24 hours later. I have filed a complaint with corporate & will gladly update my review when they correct their mess & get rid of the man that thinks it's ok to threaten & sexually harass a female customer......

A hero cop-tress pulled me over a few nights ago because ONE OF TWO license plate lights was burned out. I guess she was bored or she was hoping to find 100 pounds of Fentanyl in my trunk. Sorry, hero, I haven't even had a ticket in 30 years! She magnanimously let me off with a warning. Thank you, your Grace! So, I had to go to Advance Auto Parts to buy a light and replacement screws for the plastic light cover because mine were all rusted to Hell (Indiana car) and I had to drill 2 of the screws out to get the plastic covers off to replace the license plate lights.Advance Auto Parts did not have anything close to the screws I needed. The employee suggested Ace Hardware.Next day I went my local Ace Hardware and the guy didn't have what I needed, but sold my some screws he THOUGHT WOULD WORK.I tried to install them in their parking lot and they did not fit. So I went back into the store and got a refund. The next day I went O'Reilly Auto Parts and the asst. manager told me right off the bat, without even walking over to their nut/bolt/ and screw section that he didn't have them. He didn't even want to look.I have a Chevy Trailblazer, not that old, not an unusual vehicle. 3 different places that are supposed car parts/ hardware EXPERTS don't have a couple common screws!!! W-T-F!!!

After waiting for 2 hours for a jump in the hot sun, to say I was melting like the Wicked Witch of the West is putting it mildly.Sean was the only employee at store 7199 at the time and went above and beyond with courtesy and kindness and changed out my battery with lightning speed.Thank you, Sean, for making me laugh and bringing happiness back to my day!P.S. he deserves a raise ?
