Leo the manager here was a life saver. I rented a van from the downtown Clearwater location and had multiple problems with it, the biggest problem being an expired tag that would have caused problems on my trip. The location I rented it from absolutely refused to help in any way. I pulled up to this airport location and Leo took care of things immediately and followed through with fixing everything. Next time I'll be picking up from this location!

Terrible. The 2 out of 3 gentlemens working behind the counter acted like they didn't want to work. Very very slow not professional at all. 45 mins in line, the line kept getting longer n many people were getting frustrated. Picking up a rental car should be quick, easy, and professional. Also check your receipt, I was charged for insurance I didn't agree to. I contacted customer service after dropping the car off and they were able to remove the charge. They were super nice. I also told them the awful experience we had, and the issue with one of the tires being low.

I returned my rental car this morning with an awesome friendly gentleman at the return station. He exceeded taking care of me!!
His willingness to excute my situation due to yesterday’s global IT situation was five star!!! Great job in the customer service business

Even with the signs on the windows of our car about no smoking we could smell weed or a cigarette had to be used in the car. The outside was clean but they used a dirty towel to clean the inside of the windows. While renting the vehicle the man at the counter had his pin number canceled. So we had to wait ten minutes while he talked on the phone to reset his pin. Otherwise he was great and helpful.

The airport is empty and we are still waiting for a vehicle we rented and paid for 6 months ago. Alamo and Enterprise are the way to go.

I returned a car the other day and I filled the tank right before I returned it. When I got home, I noticed I was charged for 2 gallons by Avis at $9.99/gal. The tank wasn't even ALL THE WAY FULL when I picked it up. This was the first and last time I use Avis.

Had some issues with our rental. The guy out in the lot Raphael was a huge help, 10 stars for him. Great attitude, courteous, and got our daughter's back pack that was left in the rental. It's refreshing to see great service like he provided

We reserved two cars to be picked up at the Clearwater airport. As we arrive near the Avis counter to pick up our car, we see there are two lines. One for preferred customers and one for everyone else. As customer start piling towards the desk, they all go toward the non-preferred customer line. Once the line was greatly long, we noticed that multiple people were jumping lines just to skip line. This created a very contentious situation for the customers as there was a lot of angry customers but this is Avis’ doings. I watched the Enterprise customers go through their lines smoothly and quickly. We continued to wait in line for over an hour. I will not be reserving through Avis again as we will take our business elsewhere.

Amazing experience. Long line due to a flight coming in but went faster than I anticipated and staff maintained a high level of professionalism. Chris was great and easy to talk to. Would recommend!!

The van was dirty on the inside was not completely filled with gas I had 3/4 of a tank not a big deal but when I'm trying to show for customers around I expect to get a clean van and an updated van not something old

Prepaid for an SUV was told it has either a compact car or nothing. Counter staff were rude and had a take it or leave it attitude. Avis / Budget lot is tiny. Rent from Enterprise instead.

Zero stars for Avis. Prepaid for a convertible at the St. Petersburg Airport in FL. Stood in line over 50 minutes to be told that they did not have my rental but that they would substitute a Malibu with a sun roof for the same price! Avis had my email, telephone number and text but never informed me they did not have my car. Had to go to another rental agency rent a car for a day and come back the next day to get my convertible. Avis was rude and unapologetic. I will never rent from them again. Unfortunately I paid with my debit card so they immediately took my money and now I have to wait 7-10 days for my money back and had to incur another rental from another rental company.

Made a reservation and even prepaid in full and had no rental for me when I got there. Unfortunately dealt with employees from this location two days in a row. Both terrible with customer service literally playing on their phone watching tik tok as I spoke with them. They had no idea for who I needed to contact for a refund since I had prepaid. Also had to buy two Ubers to get to my vacation rental and back to the location the next day. Do not rent from here
