We forgot our Nintendo Switch docking station in our rental car (rented through Budget) at the PIE airport. I tried to call Avis Budget directly and file a lost and found form but the airport wouldn’t populate on the website. After contacting the airport lost and found and explaining I couldn’t directly reach the Avis Budget desk, she went over and reached and employee who gave her a direct email to communicate directly with them through. The employee on the other end of the email (Chris G) went above and beyond to get us our docking station back. He had me send a prepaid shipping label and he made sure it was sent in a timely manner and I had the tracking for it. We are so grateful for the staff at PIE airport (Nicole) and to the Budget Avis staff who went and found the docking station and ensured we got it back.

Chris was amazing and waited till 3 AM for the last flight so that we could pick up our car! He was super helpful and we enjoyed his commitment to his customers.

Tried Avis over the usual other players and would not recommend. Charged for fuel even though I filled it up plus a late fee.

The booking, pick up and drop off were easy and the workers were nice. The car, however, wasn’t ideal. There was trash in the front, sand in the trunk and the weed smell in the interior of the car was pretty intense. That made the 1.5 hour ride after pick up pretty unpleasant. It also only had 1/2 tank of gas at pick up.

My flight got in around 2am and the representative from Avis was there and was very nice and accommodating. She also changed my rental to something that better fit what I needed. Thanks!

Do not use Avis at PIE airport. Terrible experience. We have been waiting two hours to get car. Never been through something like this before. Stay away!

0/10DONT RENT FROM HERE!Been waiting in line for OVER an hour and a half for a car. They don't have any?!? What's the point of prepaying and being a 'Preferred' member if it doesn't expedite ANYTHING.This rental company isn't even operating in the 21 century. Dot matrix printers, STILL?! Take some lessons from Hertz/ Alamo/ Enterprise or any of the other companies and get it together.

Dansy C was incredibly helpful, kind, and all around awesome!! We weren’t planning to rent a car but then we changed our minds last minute. We didn’t have a reservation but Dansy was able to take care of us. Thank you so much for helping us out!! Give this guy a raise!!

I was disgusted after I went to this location today and saw how the Manager of Avis/Budget was treating a young lady in front of me when he found out that she didn’t have a credit card but a debit card that her father used to make a reservation for her days ago. He was very rude and unprofessional towards her, I asked him a question about their policy and he told me to stay out of the conversation while the young lady was crying. He had two other employees next to him while he was showing his unprofessionalism towards a customer.As soon as he came to the counter he walked up with a nasty attitude and took it out on her sadly.He sent her off to enterprise knowing that they could not help her. I ended up walking away and not renting with them after what I witnessed . This lady walked away in tears after she was treated like that by that manager. They deserve a zero not even one star. He might need additional customer service training or better yet maybe they need a new manager.

I reserved a full-size truck for Wed, Dec 27th, for 9:30 am. I was given a Cadillac SUV after waiting until 10:45 am. Many families were also stuck waiting.I was supposed to get a discount after showing my ID at the counter. I was told I was already getting a better discount.I returned the vehicle back to the airport full of fuel. I get through TSA and receive my receipt via email. I did not get a better discount, and I was also charged $15.99 for fuel service.We usually use another rental company at this location that is almost half of Avis' rate for the same vehicle, but they were sold out.
