Snobby staff, acted like they're doing you a favor helping you find things

It's great to walk through a physical bookstore but the wokeness is overwhelming , literally on every display.

Nice to look into, but the prices are way too high, and you can save a lot just buying the same thing on Amazon. This is sad as brick and morter stores should be competitive.

This location is the worst in the Tampa area. The staff (except for one guy with long red hair) are rude. Today I went to two separate team members to get help just to be ignored and both times, they walked right past me while I was speaking to them. Also, do not buy any kpop albums here as most of them are opened and missing photo cards. Staff has been notified about this issue to no result.

The books are overpriced and poorly organized within their sections. Check out The Book Rescuers instead!

Been going here since I was a kid and has always been a great spot and has grown even more throughout the years. Love that they have an entire section for anime and comics now as they did not in the early 2000s. Still has a great kid section and music in back with vinyl collections. Staff has always been great, never had an issue and if I did. They always solved it or offered a trade or credit so I never lost anything. Starbucks is nice too but enjoy the books more and will relax at the Starbucks if I just need a space to clear my head.

I came into the store to browse some books I’ve been looking for first a older woman approached me asking do I need some help I brushed that off then roughly 15 mins later a young man approaches me asking do I need some help I was already in the section I wanted I was considering to buy a Wonder Woman or watchmen book to special edition for my collection I normally order off line but to be targeted to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong I get I’m black and for some reason yall scared of us I racially profiled I believe I was racially profiled I believe. I felt kind of embarrassed because I was not able just to relax and look at what I was looking for that that that crazy and today’s society I’m a working.man I try my best to put on a positive speed. I don’t know why he came to me asking me. Do I need help or they kind of followed me around the store I just had. I felt very uncomfortable after that and I left Barnes & Noble. I love to read this never happened at any other stores I’ve been to

Very good shop, easy to reach, offering several genres of books and music, all well displayed and orderly organized.
Checkout a bit too slow and personnel friendliness to be improved.
