As said in prior reviews some older lady who was eating a salad over food and then suggested I could put bugs that they sell on people's salads because they would just think there croutons

A large variety of candy! Literally barrels of it! Even the very interesting candy BUGS. Did I try them Uh YES! It was interesting! Go try them lol. This place has all the old time candies that took me down memory lane. My kiddos and I enjoy visiting once in a while to satisfy our sweet candy cravings. I usually have to drive far to visit this place. The Candy Barrel store location that was once nearer to me is permanently closed. So for those who have close access ENJOY it while it last.

Woman who was working there short blonde hair was beyond rude. My mother and I were shopping there trying to kill some time before lunch and a young woman walked in and she couldn’t find and employee. She raised her voice and said “hello” the woman came out claiming she was in the restroom. The young woman who also worked in the mall was seeing if she had change to break a hundred and she was so rude to the young girl. We offered to help make the girl change and the woman continued to be rude when we asked if she had a marker to verify the bill. I told her you shouldn’t be so rude and mean and she barked backed back stating I wasn’t I don’t have change. I said that’s ok we were just trying to help her because you couldn’t. I would highly recommend getting treats else where and avoid these rude mean people.

mentioned in other reviews, there is a crazy old hag that yells at all children who come in. she yells at you for things that arent your fault. when i was there she threatened to call security for no reason. she said “you wanna try me today young lady” when i had done nothing. i left my change because i felt bad and she got mad at that too. there are better places- go there.

As written in several other reviews, an older cashier lady who's just downright rude to kids and parents. Her attitude is seriously disgusting, she can't stand kids being in a candy store. She gives them nasty looks while staring them down, keeps asking when they'll finish, and even questions why they're holding so much candies, that we told her many times we will purchase. She doesn't have a care in the world to hide her eye rolling.I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but when the disrespect just kept coming, I had to speak up. I straight-up told her we didn't want anything from her and left the candy right there on the counter. I hope upper management makes a change because it seems like this problem has never gotten fixed!

First time walking in there, let alone with my girls...not knowing how it all works. I see basket, but no bags. I asked the cashier how it all works if we put the candies in the basket. She rudely addresses me to use the bags for the candies in clear bins. I asked her where the bags are, she states and points out," it's thereWhere it says bags". I jokingly try to make light of it. Maybe she had a bad day. I say, " I'm obviously blindI can't find the bags. Where is it? She throws what she was doing on the counter, rolls her eyes and says.. it's by the tin can in front of you. I told my little girls, "put the baskets away. We are not doing business here". Not happening. And the cashier just decides to walk back to doin her thing.

Would give zero stars if possible!! People read the reviews.... Common thread.. rude lady and that is actually an understatement!!! Would never give my money to her shop!! If you go in then you are on your own!!

I asked the cashier for help finding something and instead of helping me, she continued to chat on her phone and just kept pointing me in a different direction. Absolutely unprofessional.

The salesman made a comment about the peppermints being Brach, which are apparently hard to find. I bought a pound that ended up being $16.99. I got them home and realized not only are they mostly NOT Brach, bit they are OLD! I tried to call, and their phone#doesn't work!!! What a rip off!

Young girl who works here is great! She has awesome customer experience to me and my pet monkey . Never felt so welcome. She kept screaming BARRELS, but it is what it is. Keep it up homie

Great selection and awesome idea. My issue is with the service. The lady was very nice and personable with my husband and myself, but a group of youngins came in laughing and giggling and she got upset. Leans in and says "this is the part I hate about this job, the kids" I was completely taken back. Being a mom of 3 and the oldest of 8 I get kids can be alot, but she works in a candy store. Then one of the kids comes up and very sweetly says excuse me and asks how the pricing works, she snapped and said " 16 and 19 per pound. That poor little boy looked so defeated. My heart broke and I turned and told him I think the brown label is 16 and the blue is 19 but I'm not sure, he said oh ok thank you and went on. What I'm getting at is she should think about somewhere that doesn't sale candy or toys if she don't want to deal with kids.
