This current location is not really a Y, but a place to hold group exercise classes. Dropped in while on vacation in Florida expecting it to be a real Y with a gym and WiFi and it didn’t have either. Just group exercise room and kid zone.

If you get a chance to attend the Yoga in the Park at Coachman Park led by the Y In Motion instructors, please do so. I went to the Monday evening and the Saturday morning class while staying in the area. The instructors were excellent. These classes can be followed by all levels of ability. They play music in the background and some instructors use a microphone and some don't. It's outdoors on the grass so there may be wind and chilly temps from the waterfront and the grass may be wet. Bring your mat and a towel. It was winter when I went, so it got dark during the Monday evening class, but the green was lit up and the huge fire torch sculptures were lit. It is a gorgeous setting. I really enjoyed these classes and couldn't believe they were free and found plenty of free parking.

Yoga/Body Balance instructors are amazing, caring, and knowledgeable. The staff is nice and welcoming. I love them all! There have been a lot of changes in the past 3-4 months and not for the better. The virtual classes need to be cancelled. Most of the time the Y has not paid their virtual classes subscriptions. Plus, we can do that in the comfort of our own home. If you are going to cancel a class, or make changes, send text messages and emails in advanced to all members. Sometimes I drive there and find out that the instructor is absent, gone or not there anymore. Not all of us are retired. Some of us work and have busy schedules. We the members have kept this Y going and alive. I think we deserve more care and respect. I hope 2024 is a better year for the Y.

My family and I love this YMCA. They have great equipment, awesome classes and a kid zone that’s hosts parent’s night out events twice a month. ?.Since my original review four years ago, they have closed and then reopened this location at a not so large store front location. I have not been there.
