I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation.Noticed tires were wearing unevenly and started monitoring if tires were being rotated after paying for the service. Found that the tires were not rotated on that visit. I spoke with the service mgr who was very kind and apologetic and offered to have the tires rotated at that time in which I did. She also gave me a free rotation on my next visit. Two oil changes later it’s time for another rotation, same results. Was told it was done and it never was. My tires/rims are marked so I keep track of these things. Fitzgerald Clearwater use to have great service in the past years but it seems to have gone down dramatically. I’m even questioning if the oil changes are being done. I had to call several times (every 2-3 days) and still never got a call back. I called in again today and was told to bring the car in for a tire rotation. I would advise customers to verify that your are rotated.

Nice folks. Had car service done and they did great on what they charged us for. One item of concern was not fixed even though they said it was. They didn't change for that issue but why tell us it was resolved when it clearly wasn't.

138 pts inspected does not mean all known failures resolved! In November 2022 I purchased a used Jeep from Fitzgerald’s Auto mall. This was my first Jeep, I had never driven one, I had heard they can be a bit tricky to adjust to, but I thought it would be a fun “beach car” Being new to the area and having heard about Fitzgerald’s through TV and radio ads, hearing of their 138 pt inspection” and all of the assurance that is meant to instill. While I noticed several performance issues upon test drive, each of them was dismissed as being “normal” for Jeeps. The two issues I noted upon test drive was “tricky handling” and a delay between when the ignition key was turned, and the engine turned over. I was assured that this was normal and that the vehicle had passed the 138 pt inspection.Several months later the vehicle began to smoke, handle even worse and fairly quickly stopped running at a busy intersection late at night. Efforts were made to restart the vehicle, and it would not, efforts to push the vehicle off the road failed as the wheels were “locked up”. I reached out to Fitzgerald’s after the fact, and a conversation began between myself and several levels of management in the Fitzgerald’s service food chain. I will give them credit for their honesty after the fact, as they admitted that a problem had been recognized with the brake caliper at the time of inspection, and that the lag in ignition was also recognized, the battery was changed to a new one in an effort to resolve the delayed ignition, and while the ignition issue was not resolved, and the brake caliper issue was not resolved, it was good enough to get out the door. Inspection passed. When I explained this to my independent mechanic, he suggested that a technician would have surely known that the problem was not resolved as the issue with the brake calipers would have made it very difficult to replace the pads. So, well over $1500 out of my own pocket later, the issues recognized in the Fitzgerald 138 point inspection are now RESOLVED. While Fitzgerald was very apologetic of this “oversight” it was oversighted by far to many individuals involved to accept that this was an anomaly. 1. I was told that the service techs had driven the car 12 miles after completing service, 2. I drove the vehicle several miles as a test drive, Recognized something was “odd” to me, but was assured that it was “normal” for Jeeps, then to top it off 3. the salesperson drove the vehicle 25 minutes himself to deliver the car after purchase. While Fitzgeralds were very forthcoming in their admission of recognizing the problems I experienced in their 138 pt inspection, and admit to trying an inexpensive effort to resolve each issue. They even offered me $200 of complimentary service! On top of the service agreement I made the mistake of purchasing from them that allows me $35 of service credit every 3 months! SURE! I’D LOVE to trust THEN SAME technicians that passed over $1500 worth of headaches back to me! Mind you if I am fitting the repair bill they may have fixed it right the first time. But they have already proven an EAGERNESS to cut corners and shave costs on their part. As I was told that in the condition the brake calipers were in replacing the pads would have been very difficult, and obviously replacing the battery did no fix the ignition problem, it did meet their satisfaction. Buyer beware. I wont say that they don’t inspect 138pts. They very well may have. But they cant say they fix everything they find that may be wrong in that process, by their own admission they did recognized the problem and did not fix the problem. While they admitted fault and offered me a "generous" $200 in service credit since I had to spend $1500 out of pocket to repair what they simply passed over, I have zero confidence in them.

Can't say enough good things about the service we received from Curt who worked very hard to make us happy when purchasing a new vehicle. He was knowledgeable about the car and worked hard to make sure that everything was done fast and efficiently. He made sure that we were happy answering all of our questions. My husband was very pleased with this sales person also

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a 2015 Honda CRV from Adrian Tufts here at Fitzgerald auto mall, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. As a first-time car buyer, I was nervous about the process, but Adrian's professionalism and genuine care put me at ease from the moment I walked into the dealership. From the get-go, Adrian impressed me with his upfront and straight-to-the-point approach. He didn't waste any time with unnecessary sales pitches or pressure tactics. Instead, he took the time to understand my needs and provided all the relevant information about the vehicle. It was refreshing to work with someone who valued transparency and honesty throughout the entire process. What truly sets Adrian apart is his exceptional level of care and consideration. He went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and well-informed at every step. I felt confident in my decision to purchase my Honda CRV.Moreover, Adrian's sense of humor added a delightful touch to the overall experience. Despite the seriousness of buying a car, his lightheartedness and wit made the process for me and my dad enjoyable. It's rare to find a salesperson who can strike the perfect balance between professionalism and creating a relaxed atmosphere.I cannot recommend Adrian Tufts highly enough. Personally I think his outstanding customer service, knowledge, and genuine care for his clients make him an invaluable asset to Fitzgerald auto mall. If you're looking for a hassle-free car-buying experience with someone who truly puts your needs first, Adrian is your go-to person.

No way been three different times and they never acknowledge your existence on the lot. Left and purchased a $29,000 car from a dealer who cares.

I had to come and give my review because I came in looking for a vehicle and had such an amazing time (which never happens) my salesman was Charlie and he went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant car buying experience! Helped me with my daughters car seat moving it in one car to the next for 2 different vehicles, was so polite to both of us, and actually made the car buying experience fun. My father was helping me purchase the car and he likes to argue with the salesman to make sure he’s getting the best deal and thanks to Charlie he was able to do just that! When you go to Fitzgerald Auto Mall you HAVE TO ASK FOR CHARLIE! He’s the best!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GETTING ME IN MY BEAUTIFUL KIA!! I LOVE IT!!

YOU CAN NOT RESERVE AN INBOUND CAR AT FITZMALL UNLESS YOU HAVE A TRADE IN! Fitzmall may have been one of the better car dealerships prior to the pandemic, but now the have a very strange new car buying policy. I inquired about buying a new car, most models aren't even at the dealership yet. I am not allowed to reserve one of their inbound cars. Unless you have a trade in (which I do not) then you can not reserve one. You have to wait until one may make it to their lot that hasn't been reserved. Basically, it's hit or miss that the car and model you want may arrive at their lot unsold. Lane Campbell, General Sales Manager confirmed this with me. They need to survive, so getting trade ins makes them money. He said they need to service their local customers without having to charge extra fees like other car dealerships do. But what about a local customer like me, who has no trade in, but wants to reserve my certain make and model? I have to wait and hope it shows up unsold or reserved. WOW! I feel like I am being punished because I do not have a trade in. No flexibility on their policy!

This place is a hidden gem with an army of other dealerships combining their inventory together. The salesman Charlie was excellent and professional in helping me find the right vehicle for me. He even picked me up from my house. That’s above and beyond in my book. Great work overall at Fitzmall, would highly recommend to anyone looking to not get haggled on price. It’s the REAL deal.

Needed a 2019 Highlander and most of the dealerships were adding $2,000 - $4,000 to the no-haggle price for "reconditioning" and dealer fees. The Fitz fee was closer to $800. They also provided a 4,000 mile warranty which we ended up needing. The previous owner replaced the windshield, disabling the expensive "lane assist" system. Fitzgerald service couldn't fix it and asked us to take it to our local Toyota dealer. I was hearing stories of $1,800 repairs for this system and was half expecting Fitz to tell me that the repair wasn't covered. After 6-days of struggle and a rental car, Toyota finally fixed it and Fitzgerald covered the repair bill without a word of complaint. Fitzgerald apparently ran out of room and had to move their outlet into this cheesy looking used car lot. Don't judge based on this shabby appearance. The service, the price and the willingness to stand behind their promises "the Fitz way" as Jack Fitzgerald says in their commercials, was delivered.
