I visited this store feb 16, 2024 and was looking for some used clubs. The salesman Chris who checked me out was not helpful and refused to answer my questions on shaft length of the clubs I was looking to buy. He, in a very short response, suggested I should just buy a new set of clubs. I did not feel like he wanted me shopping there or wanted to answer any of my questions unless I was buying new products.I did end up buying what I was looking for but not with any help from any associate.

Just an unnecessarily rude experience from one of the employees. I went in to see if they had a specific head in the pre owned to try and get some general numbers (not same shaft so won’t be exact). I didn’t want to do a full new club thing to take up both their time and mine. Went up to an employee, mid age, glasses, goatee, and asked if I could use the bay on the right for just a few swings. He said “just use the left one over there I guess” after a sigh. I took a swing, noticed the trackman tiles were very limited, turned to see if he was there, and he was speaking with another customer. I know how to use a trackman system, so in the interest of not interrupting him over 2 mouse clicks, I went to change them quick. I then hear loudly “Excuse me?! What do you think you’re doing?” in a tone like you would think I’m trying to steal a club. Speechless almost, I said, “I was just trying to see a few numbers like I asked.”He continued, “these bays are for fittings you don’t need more tiles up there, and even if you did, you wouldn’t be putting them up”Don’t put me in the bay for your precious fittings, then? The netted bay was open.Something as simple as “excuse me, sorry, we just prefer to do that for you, what can I add up there?” would’ve worked, maybe?A company this big, saying you won’t come back again doesn’t actually matter, but an all time clown show definitely works at this store.

We had an amazing experience from Collin and Steve. Collin's instruction was very professional and he helped us identify a wrong club that was shipped to us from a sister store. The manager, Steve went out of his way and drove an hour round trip to a sister store to bring us the correct club. I can't say enough good things about the experience and the staff. A+ They both went way above and beyond today.

This is the second time I have used this place to buy clubs and both times I have been disappointed. The first time was a driver that I was fitted for and when I tried it out on the course I couldn't hit it so I wanted to exchange it. I paid $630 for the driver. And it was in excellent condition. They offered me $238 in trade value for the driver I hit 10 times. I opted to keep the driver. Then I was fitted and ordered a new set of irons. I was told they would call me when they showed up but it would take about a week. After 2 weeks of waiting I called and the salesman told me they would arrive that day and they would call me. I thought that was perfect since I was off that day. They were closing at 8pm so I called at 7:30pm and the salesman told me the clubs arrived 3 hours earlier and I could pick them up. I told him I wished they notified me sooner so I could use them but it was now too late to get there by 8:00. So now, a day later, the manager calls me and tells me my clubs just arrived today. I tell him that he is lying to me since I was notified that my clubs were there yesterday. He said I was wrong. I'm not the one that wrong. It's him or his salesman. I won't do business with them again and instead will do my business with Edwin Watts. There they know how to treat a customer and offer the 90 day exchange.

Whole bag club fitting last Friday. I had Collin who was a ton of help. I had old clubs and he walked me through A-Z. Took the time to see which I preferred and hit best, gave me pointers on my game and helped order all of my items/answer all my questions with no complaints. Thankful for the great service!

In all fairness if you know what you want and don't need any help this is a good place to shop. If you are looking for advice about what club you should use or getting fitting I would highly recommend looking else where. It is a very disorganized place any you will spend a lot of time following up with your order. I wish I would have done my fitting else where, 3 weeks of hassle just to get half of what I need because they forgot to order the other half.

I went to Golf Galaxy in Clearwater and was immediately welcomed with a friendly smile and told them I needed my putter repaired. I’m 5’5 so everything has to be cut bent and twisted…. My putter was already worked on by two other shops around town and nobody was able to spec it out to my specifications. Vic the wise gentlemen in the workshop immediately diagnosed and spotted the problem and in less than 20 minutes had fixed the putter to my specifications. Obviously those guys know how to treat a customer and I highly recommend them. The master fitter who’s name I can’t recall is also a class act and has the eye for fitting you into the right equipment. Vic definitely has the patience and knowledge to solve any problems you may have with your equipment. I’ll definitely recommend you see Vic if you need your sticks spec”d out.

Fantastic golf Galaxy location in Clearwater FL. They have all the big brands and a large selection of used clubs as well. I'm sure you will find what you need here.

As new golfer with lots of questions, this is NOT the place to go. Associates avoided contact unless I directly cornerd them. Then it was awkward getting some kind of response from them. Ultimately decided to get a glove and some tees. Don't expect much if you need actual assistance.

It's been more than 90 days since I last golfed. To get back in the game after a major surgery and pick up an iron again this is the best place for practicing. They have assisted smart and eligible staff who can guide you to the right Irons Putters classes / coaches and golf equipment! Whatever you need they have it!

Amazing customer service from Cliff! I recently started getting back into golfing and was looking for the correct size of clubs to get and recommendations on a set. Cliff was super helpful in fitting me to the right size clubs. He is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Pleasant greeting when entering. Sales associate asked how was my day going and asked if I needed any help. Had a question about a cost and he scanned the product and provided the cost.
