Large, clean store but WAY over priced! Single sandwich plate which would sell for $1. anywhere else is $4.98 here!?

I had a frustrating experience that I hope the team can learn from. I had spent a good amount of time picking out unique pieces and placed them in my cart. While I briefly stepped away, a staff member mistakenly assumed I had left and returned the cart. When I asked about it, I was told the clothes were already put back and had been picked up by another customer.
Since this is a thrift store, where every item is one-of-a-kind, I lost all the pieces I had chosen. It felt incredibly disappointing—like my time and effort didn’t matter. I didn’t make a scene, but I left the store feeling pretty upset.
I’m sharing this in the hopes that staff will be more careful in the future before taking carts or returning items without checking if a customer is still shopping. A simple “Is this anyone’s cart?” could have prevented this.
I appreciate the work Goodwill does for the community, but I hope the customer experience can be taken more seriously too.

This was one of the cleanest stores that I have been to so far. There is also an abundance of upscale clothing at very reasonable prices.

I was charged twice on my CC and told that I had to come back (1 1/2 hours away) to the store to be reimbursed. It is not my fault you have incompetent employees!!!

I come here often & always find great stuff! Some of the prices are crazy high but overall I enjoying thrifting here.

I shopped at the Clearwater location this afternoon and I was completely shocked over the prices. These prices are no different than a department store who sells brand new stuff. Towels for $6.98?! A Nostalgia mini muffin pan for $8.98.. I can buy brand new for $9.99. coffee cups $3.98 and higher. What a complete joke! This company should be completely ashamed of themselves and should absolutely 100% change their name from "Goodwill'. The prices definitely don't reflect a company who is trying to be of goodwill. You will not be getting any of my donations. Shame on this company!!!
And as I was leaving 3 other customers were leaving at the same time and they were saying the same thing. None of us bought anything.

Generally a good store. But don't try and shop for athletic clothing here. Mens, womens, childrens, XL, M, S, it's all thrown onto one long rack, and you'll spend all day finding something that fits - much less a style you like.

Bro the prices be so high! Used to be cheaper. Some of the items listed as $5 are literally from the dollar store.
I’ve found a lot of good clothing here for myself, but I also know that a few more dollars and we’re at TJ Max prices.
My mom’s like: “this used $7 glass container is not quite worth it”

I like shopping at this store. I think it's very well organized compared to other thrift stores. I do agree with the other reviews about their prices being higher than they should be. I bought a 6 foot tall mechanical alien for Halloween for $75 and decided to look online to see if I could find a second one and the price of a brand new was was only $50... But I like that I can I can find interesting things and nice clothes under one roof and I can get several new outfits for $100. At the mall I'd only get 1 outfit for that amount of money.

Compared to other thrift stores in the area, Goodwill's really become a disappointment. Not just this particular store but in general. The prices of have gotten too high even if you manage to catch their color sale it's not great. Give up Goodwill and support your local charity or church thrifts.
