I have been a loyal customer of GTE for over 25 years, and my journey with them has been largely positive, especially when it comes to securing loans. Whether it was for personal needs, an auto loan, or a mortgage, GTE has always made the process straightforward and hassle-free. A special shout-out to the loan department staff who have consistently been friendly, nice, and incredibly supportive throughout the years. However, it's with a bit of regret that I find myself unable to use GTE for all my banking needs. The current system, though reliable for what it does, feels antiquated and comes with limitations that hinder it from being the all-encompassing banking solution it has the potential to be. This isn't just a minor inconvenience but a significant barrier to adopting GTE as a one-stop banking solution. Reflecting on other reviews and my own experiences, I believe there's a broader conversation to be had about banking education. It seems there's a gap in understanding what to expect from a bank and what questions customers should be asking to ensure their banking needs are thoroughly met. This knowledge is crucial, yet it's often overlooked in our education system. Understanding the capabilities and limitations of your bank based on your personal or business banking needs is fundamental. So, I encourage everyone to get educated! Know what your banking needs are and find out if your bank can support those needs effectively. In closing, I want to express my gratitude to GTE for the many years of reliable loan services and for being a part of my financial journey. Here's to hoping for future improvements that will allow GTE to become the holistic banking solution it has the potential to be. Thank you, GTE, for the past 25+ years.

I have been a member of this credit union for just over 40 years and have always been treated both with respect and as a friend, while knowing that my funds were secure and well managed, regardless of the size of my account or what office or staff member I was dealing with. Recently a Share Certificate matured and Palm Harbor Member Relations Officer Debbie Clippard took steps to insure that its renewal would be at the best terms and best rate for my benefit as member, and assisted me in improving my investment. I consider GTE Financial an exceptional institution.

Every time I call I get a person who is more than compassionate about my issues. I’ve banked with them personally for over 20 years and professionally for 5. While change is not always comfortable their service and friendly has always remained!

My experience with Taja was 100% the best!! She was patient kind and highly efficient. I experience high levels of anxiety when dealing with technical problems and she was able to resolve all the problems but more importantly put me at ease. No easy task believe me. Taja thanks a million.

I was warmly greeted by staff. I went I for a new card. Met with Ms Marim, who looked at my account and explained different other options I can benefit from. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions.

Debbie was amazing. Answered all of our questions and took her time to explain everything we needed to know about opening our business /personal accounts. We will be back in the next few months to see her when we decide to refinance our vehicles !

Don’t normally post anything, good or bad….however, Alicia at my local branch earned these 5 stars! She was friendly and professional, patient and empathetic with my situations! Customer service is getting worse everywhere, everyday! It’s such a comforting experience to deal with someone like Alicia. She treated me like family and that means so much, especially when it involves your finances! She definitely takes pride in her career, I know that due to the compassion and thoroughness she’s provided me with!
