Gulf Marine of Clearwater is a trusted business known for its friendly, professional, and knowledgeable team. Customers appreciate their great customer service and straightforward communication about costs. The company has experience in selling and repairing trailers, with many clients having purchased multiple trailers from them and consistently having positive experiences. They offer quality trailers like Continental models, with attentive staff who answer questions and ensure proper setup, such as installing guides at the correct width for boats. However, some reviews highlight concerns about quality control. One customer received a new trailer with missing cotter pins and poor welds on the axle, leading to issues like a tire falling off and damaged wires. The wiring and hardware on some trailers were found to be subpar, with wires splitting and bearings falling out, causing additional expenses for repairs. Customers are advised to double-check cotter pins, wires, and other components when purchasing or servicing a trailer. Despite these issues, many reviewers have experienced excellent service, including quick repairs and affordable solutions. Overall, Gulf Marine of Clearwater is a reliable place for buying trailers and obtaining repairs, with a team committed to customer satisfaction.
