I’ve been bringing my vehicles here since 2004. John is a very honest mechanic and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! He can fix anything!

My brake lights remained on, even after turning the engine off. A hispanic mechanic who was there was very helpful. The problem was immediately addressed and fixed for much less than I expected. Very service oriented.

John is the only one I bring my car since I moved to the area. He is professional, knowledgeable and reasonable.Last week I needed some help but John wasn't there and I was a little bit skeptical with a young man who works there. I was mistaken. Bence, the young man is John's son. Kind, polite with an excellent attitude. He is extremely professional, he is perfectly knowledgeable and kind. I got my car fixed as I am very satisfied. I am proud to be the John's complete auto center costumer. I will never change them. Thank you guys.

John is simply the best. He is a God send. I only deal with him because he is honest to a fault and is a straight shooter. His son is also very gifted as he was trained by his father. John also has a wonderful wife who helps out too. Great family operation here. I’m so thankful for them.

I always trusted him with my car until I realized he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. My engine failed along with having an airbag issue. He claimed the airbag issue was going to be 4k to fix and with the engine blowing up he told me to just bring my car to the junk yard. I’m glad I looked up my car to see both of the issues were under recall and he said he knew my car was under recall but just chose to not tell me. I recently brought my car back to fix my ac. He claimed I needed a new compressor. Said a ridiculous price that was double the price than going to the dealership. While checking out my car he drained some fluid and didn’t put it back(so that I would come back to him to get it fixed) very dishonest mechanic.

I've had several repairs from John's shop. John and his additional mechanic are honest, don't overcharge and they do their best to get to the bottom of the issues. John is an experienced mechanic that takes pleasure in finding and fixing the issue and is good at that. He takes a high responsibility for the work as he wants to fix the issue and give you back a vehicle repaired and in better condition. Sometimes the issues are very complex or requires trying to figure it out based on testing to see if a particular part fixed the issue. He has always been very cooperative to work with me to get to the bottom of sometimes frustrating and complex issues other mechanics have been unable to resolve, while also not just giving me a huge bill to do so. I really appreciate it when he diagnoses something and I can supply the parts to keep costs low. Most shops don't allow that. His shop is very busy because he has a lot of repeat customers. You need to schedule the repairs ahead of time and it is best to give him the time to do the work (and drive another car in the meantime). If he is rushed as you did not give him the time he needed, then don't blame him. I highly recommend John and his shop.

Had motor mounts replaced on my van. The parts were ordered. Once received they installed them quickly. The price and turn around of the service was great.

AVOID this shop. Misdiagnosed my vehicle, charged me $1,000 for work I did not authorize verbally or in writing. Especially work that didn't address the very thing it was brought in to be looked at for. No signs of the work claimed to be done by the shop. Tried to double the charge to then fix the problem. Had to pay to get vehicle back without it being fixed. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP. Since you read these, Did the Ukrainian military shirt bother you in some way or is this a consistent business model? Reporting this shop to the State and other equally relevant parties.

We have taken vehicles to John's several times now. This shop is very thorough and reasonably priced. If you are in need of a good mechanic, or just need a second opinion, we would definitely recommend them.

Took my car here to fix an oil leak. John said the leak was due to a bad valve cover gasket (which I had replaced 2 months ago, no oil leaks for a month, and the oil leak started), but John insisted whoever I brought it to did a terrible job. $350 later (yes, $350 to replace a valve cover gasket that takes 30 minutes or so?) my car still leaked oil. This time John said it's due to oil cooler gaskets. I asked John how about the previous $350 that didn't fix the job, and John insisted that was also leaking. Another $400 and brand new oil cooler gaskets, my car still leaked oil. John told me this time it's a bad oil pan (my oil drain plug was stripped). Like they couldn't catch this the first time? It takes 3 tries, and each try they get wrong, they get paid $400? At this point, I'm fuming and wished I never met John. I could take it to another shop, but by this point, I'm thinking, how many more spots in an engine can an oil leak? And John said it could be done the same day (and I desperately needed my car) So I bit the bullet and did this final job for another $400. $1200 later, the oil leak in my car (which is worth only $1200 or so) is fixed. I asked John about a discount for the 3rd $400 job, and he insisted "they needed to be done anyways". When was the last time you took your car to a mechanic and he fixed something that wasn't the problem, charged you for it, and then told you "it needed to be done anyways"? When you step foot in John's shop, John is always right and you are always wrong. Remember that. So did John do a good job of fixing an oil leak from a stripped drain plug? Yes he did, for $1200. So all the good reviews here, I wonder how much John charged you compared to a more reasonable shop, and if you even know what a reasonable price is. All the great reviews, post the job you got done, and also the price. So others can see if that price is reasonable or not. Anyone can do a good job if they charged 2x to 3x.

I caught a nail in my car and wanted to try taking care of it during my lunch hour. The staff at John's Complete Auto Center was able to take the nail out, plug the hole, and fill my tire back up in less than 10 minutes from when I arrived without an appointment at an incredibly reasonable price. These guys are awesome and I'm glad to know they're in the neighborhood for when bigger issues arise.Service: Tires
