I had a very unfortunate experience. I have placed all of my files on a thumb drive. I was told to use the machine. I placed my USB stick into the USB slot. There was a circular icon that kept spinning. The lady the account just said sometimes those don’t work and if you give it to us, we will do it. The approximate cost that I was seeing for using the coffee machine machines would have printed my print job for about $7.
So I gave her the USB stick and she said there’s no files on it. The printer basically deleted everything on my USB stick. It must have formatted the drive
I am an IT professional, so when I say that the files were there, because I checked them in the car park before I entered the premises, they could not have magically disappeared from the time I left the car to the time I gave the person the USB stick. So therefore the printer must have done this. Maybe it was because my USB stick was formatted for Mac or indeed because it had a full with none print related items, such as executeable files. Either way, I lost a lot.
Not only that, but the bill for Printing came to about $37 , 30 bucks more than I would’ve expected how the machines worked
Not happy, and I’ve lost a piece of software that cost me $60 which was on that USB stick

This store is a joke if you need help don’t come here! Have one person on staff and made getting things printed a lot more difficult than they need to be!

I'm definitely not going back to Office Depot again especially when management treats customers this way. I'm going to Staples next time.
We went to Office Depot in Clearwater this afternoon to make copies using their self-service copy machine. I went through the copy machine screens and checked the appropriate boxes including black and white copies. The copy machine we tried to use was having problems reading our thumb drive. I went to the print shop counter and ask the man if he could help because the printer was not working. He said I'll be with you after I help the lady behind you. I went back to the copy machine and a man walked by and I thought I saw Office Depot on his shirt but was not sure. I asking him do you work for Office Depot. He responded back with an attitude saying yes that's why I'm here. He was also chewing gum that reminded me of a cow in a pasture chewing its cud and his appearance doing this was very unprofessional especially for someone in management. He also could not get the thumb drive to read and he said we'll use that machine over there after that customer finishes. I told him I need to get this done now because I have another appointment what about using the computer in the print shop. He said okay and went to the print shop and made the copies. He never ask if I wanted color copies or not and I did not say anything believing he saw black and white on the first printer. He made the copies and I asked him how much I owe and he said we'll go over there. I went over to the cash registers with him and notice on the screen he was charging me for a color copy. I said all of my copies were black and white why are you charging me for one in color and he replied the logo on top is in color. I said I never asked for color and that logo is 1 in by half an inch in size. He said you should have let me know in advance again with an attitude problem. At that time I noticed he was the assistant store manager.

I have made several purchases at this location and have done some copying and printing there as of late. I have been happy with every purchase and interaction there, but I don't typically take the time to write a review unless I am extremely satisfied or really upset. This review is about a team member that went above and beyond to assist me with a print job. I needed a poster made and I did my best to create it online, but could not get the file I made in Word and converted to a PDF to stretch all the way to the size of the poster, leaving some white lines on either side. It was not ideal but I figured it would be ok like that, gave up trying to fix it, and submitted it for print. I received a call the next morning from Kai, who noticed the problem, knew what to do and volunteered to fix it for me knowing that I was not knowledgeable enough with Canva to do it. Who does this?? I could not believe the attention to detail, noticing that there was something wrong with the layout and then having the consideration to call me to see if I wanted it that way. But to volunteer personal time to do what I could not do and make it perfect for me was over the top. This level of customer service is what makes people come back again and again. You have an exceptional team member there who deserves recognition for exceeding customer expectations when so many are complacent. Thank you, Kai, for your commitment to caring for customers!

Just popped in here to get some copies of my resume and I was delighted to be helped by Desiree and Jessica! They were very professional,friendly and super efficient and I appreciated their assistance. I got in and out in no time. I would recommend this location of Office Depot to anyone in this area that has printing or retail office needs! Keep up the great work, team!

The manager was extremely nice and helpful! He not only helped me, I saw him help 3 other customers in the short time I was there! I just wish their prices were better or at least comparable.

The woman ( I think her name started with a C?) at the counter was very helpful and sweet! I was having some trouble downloading my documents and she was able to help me straighten things out. She is the reason I will always come back to this Office Depot!
