You should read the reviews and responsesI have been a patron since 2020. I have had my pomeranians groomed here for several years. I haven't been back for grooming since they raised the prices almost double. I made appointments for 4 dogs bath and a blowout on 2 different days. I got stuck in Des Moines due to weather and was on the plane at 5am the morning of the 1st appointments. I was going to call on my connection to let them know I would not be able to make it. Dave called me when i landed in Atlanta. I profusely apologized and told him I would pay for the services because I didn't show up. He told me no, I couldn't bring the money and furthermore they weren't going to be able to groom my dogs anymore. I apologized again and he say "you guys have to grow up sometime". Since I'm 60 yrs old, I feel it was not appropriate for him to say that to anyone. I hung up.I have gone to Pet Safari for 4 years to purchase all my pet needs because they are a locally owned business. Regardless of price I want to support my local hard working friends. Well clearly they know me and they know what type of person I am and know I'm here to support them. Not anymore. If they are going to refuse to groom my 6 dogs because I couldn't show up for 2 grooming appointments, but I was willing to pay for missed appointments, this is not the place I want to be a patron of or refer anyone else there. They won't miss my money. I hope they review this situation, what was said and come up with a better solution. I think it would have been beneficial for me to pay for the service and tip the groomer because it wasn't her fault.

Tinkerbell my 7 year old Chiggy loves her CBD chews from this small local business! I love supporting them because they seem to know many of their returning customers! I would rather support small business than any big corporation where me and my dog become just another Transaction and payment for them. They have also helped me with products when I was dog sitting and the pup was having accidents. Very knowledgeable!

Love this place! right by my house, always has a good selection of things for animals. very nice people.update! just had my puppy groomed for the first time ever in his life and looks so handsome! price was great service great 5 stars isn't enough. neighborhood family store please support!!!

Friendly staff! Nice fish selectionEdit: it’s been 5 years since my first visit here. And honestly, I don’t know why I keep coming back. I love the selection of fish they have but I have gotten ick from them 6 out of the 10 times I have come here. Have lost many great fish and I am currently battling my tank with ick from them. I am super unhappy and I think I may finally accept the truth that I just need to go someplace else and spend a couple more bucks.

I have been going to Pet Safari for about 18 years. I love that it is a local family owned business. I have seen the same employees year after year, which says a lot about the owners. In 18 years I have had 5 dogs groomed there. They have always been taken care of well and have not be frantic when I take them there. The staff is friendly and informative. It feels like home.

Thanks Dave for your response.I called your facility 3 different times asking for the owner, left 3 messages with my phone number with the lady who picked up.So you LIED, it's sad that it took my review to get a phone call back. You also LIED, I come way more than 5 times a year, my credit card statement proves it. Your staff you have has always been wonderful to us.The groomers are wonderful as well, it absolutely was a mis communication, however it wasn't right either.I don't really care about the costs, it was the principal, and point I was trying to make.

Horrible experience. Made appt for 10am was told 4 hours because my dog was 3rd in line. Went to owner and he was j**** Not sorry at all. Then pick up dog and pretty much just a bath for $62. Never again. Now the owner wants to lie about things. I wanted to take my dog but was told she was already in tub and wet. Then wanted me to take my wet dog. No cut on my dog at all. Then groomer puts my dog in carrier and brings out to me so I wouldn't see she did nothing. Last time she brought her and wanted me to look at everything to make sure I was happy. As far as scheduling, the last time I was told they overbooked and that wouldn't happen again. If you can't take constructive criticism and except your mistakes then get out of business. You should be apologizing not bashing a review. Bye Felicia.

A place that actually quarantines their fish! You don’t see this much anymore in fish stores. They do the right things for their fish and not just for the money. Every fish I have bought from this place has been top notch!
