So I found a couple fleas on my twi dogs and had no clue what to do, I went to petco to try to find something to help my dogs and Sabrina was absolutely amazing. She had all the knowledge I needed and helped me find exactly what I needed and was super kind and sweet and I’m honestly only writing this review out of appreciation for how awesome she was so thankyou Sabrina!

I recently became a fur mom and it’s all new to me and can be a bit scary . Elesa was so helpful with explaining to me the best brands in regards to puppy foods (gottta keep our pups healthy ) and also calming treats due to stress . This put me at so much ease . Also Jason and the register was more than helpful with teaching me how to use treats to guide and reward my pup he was SOOO knowledgeable . Best location all employees where extremely helpful !!!!

Online shopping made errands super easy. I placed an order, received the email confirmation and just had to show associates my email when picking the order up. Took minutes.

They gave my boyfriend trouble for picking up $12 cat litter because my name was under the order. I couldn't pick up the order because I had an emergency, and I even wanted to talk to them on the phone about it but the employees were rude and unhelpful towards both of us. I even sent the receipt to my boyfriend, via, email, with all of my information and they still were acting rude. When I asked them if I can add his name to the order, they said that I should just cancel the order and reorder it. Why would I go through all of that trouble when my boyfriend is already at the store with all of my information, the cat litter is ready to be picked up, and all they have to do is give it to him. LITERALLY ALL OF THIS FOR $12 CAT LITTER. In the past, we never had this problem. Petco needs to hire people that are more caring and compassionate to their customer's needs. Now that I'm having an emergency and can't pick up the litter, my cats have to go without litter until my emergency is over and I can go to the store and pick it up. Switching over to a different pet store, that's for sure.

What I do like: They have a huge selection of dog and cat articles, different types of food, toys and accessories that I usually can't find in other pet stores. Cons: It's expensive compared to Amazon, so check prices before going

Very pleased with the Petco in Largo! The store is well stocked with the supplies I need for my cat and multiple aquariums. The staff and aquarium department are what made me change from my previous store in Palm Harbor; it’s a bit longer drive but well worth it. Employee S. has always been super helpful when I’ve had aquarium and fish questions. She often relates questions to her own experience with tanks at home and provides great suggestions; she even offered to special order specific supplies and fish if I needed. The cashiers K&K are pleasant, friendly, funny, and always make me feel welcomed back. Great store, great stocking, and great customer service! Thanks Largo ladies!

My order was supposed to be delivered between 2 and 4pmI made sure to be home to get it. I got 2 items about 430. No one told me the rest of my order would be delivered.I went to local store they had the rest of my order and Doordash came in to get it when I was there. This was after 5pm. What if we had plans for the evening. I didn't want my stuff left on the door.

We’ve used petco for our dog needs for 6 years. We purchased a whole hearted $69.00 bag of dog food and after we got it home we saw it was full of worms. We called the manager and he said that wasn’t uncommon in certain brands. He said if we brought our receipt back he would refund our money. We brought it back and he hid in his office and let the new girl deal with us. He refused to give us our money back. We will never shop petco again.

Love this petco specifically because of the grooming staff they have there. Jackson always makes sure my puppy is cut well, he never has any cuts and he is always so happy to see him. Thank you guys for everything you do.

Duwan did a very good job taking care of my dog Lilly! They were respectful and wasn't aggressive when trimming her nails. She came out smelling like a clean doggo as well as a soft girly too ?. After hearing it was his first day I thought he did an amazing job and with a few minor things to work on I think he'll become a favorite among anyone who brings their fur baby in!

I moved across town, so I’m used to using pet supermarket because they do price matching, which is phenomenal especially, when you’re trying to save money. Because I moved across town I decided to try out this pet store “Petco on East Bay” because it’s literally right down the road from my house. Everything was great until check out, when they turned around and told me that it’s $.10 per bag if I want to bag my purchases. Are you freaking kidding me right now? Because of this I will not be returning to the store! I will continue to give my business to Pet Supermarket , even though I have to go out of my way to get there. I spend way too much every single time I walk into the pet store. To have to be told that I need to pay for the bags to put the merchandise in that I’ve purchased. You just lost a customer because of your greed!

I purchased a beta fish after I was given bad information at another pet store, and they didn’t want to give me another fish after only having it one day. Not wanting to go home without a replacement. I went to Petco on Eastbay and 19. Wow! I am so glad that I did. There was a girl there that was handling me and other peoples questions about a lot of different pets and she was so knowledgeable and helpful. I am so glad I went there. I will definitely go back and I will tell everyone. I know if they have fish definitely go back there and speak with her. She was a young girl with long dark straight hair very slender build
